Action Takers Ultimate Challenge (for Amateur Affiliate Marketers) - aka Operation Total Freedom

Hey Warrior Forum,

This is my first day and first post to WF. I've long avoided this site as just a bunch of wannabees advertising to a bunch of wannabees! No disrespect to my real action takers.

So I intentionally haven't joined until I got my sh*t together. Now I'm calling the "real" IM community for a little collaboration and competition at the same time.

I read this book called Get Motivated by Tamara Lowe -> http://amzn.to/GM123. Awesome book that teaches you how to use your unique personality to achieve success. Anyway, I learned I'm highly motivated by competition and results.

Thus the Action Takers Ultimate Challenge (for Amateur Affiliate Marketers) - aka Operation Total Freedom

The goal of the competition is to increase your percent of number of SALES over a 6-month period.

  1. I chose 6-months, because I want this long enough to see REAL results. But not too long to drag on forever were people drop off.
  2. I chose to measure SALES, because I want ACTION takers ONLY. No wannabees or talkers need to post!
  3. I chose NUMBER of sales because that is something that is standard between everyone's business. So whether a sale means $1 or $100 to you, a sale is a sale.
  4. I chose percent increase because I want a wide range of skills, from beginners to advanced. So whether you go from 1 sale a day to 2 sales or 100 sales a day to 200 sales. Both are 100% increase. So while you're competing against the group you're also "competing" against yourself. Increasing your PERCENT of sales means you change your business and change your life.

So here are the rules:
  1. The competition runs from 11/1/11 - 4/30/11 (or 6 months)
  2. Everyday you post your # of sales/day in the format below. It's ok if you miss a few days. Just keep us current on your results so we can continue to encourage each other.
  3. If you're starting with 0 sales, your base sale is 1. Because 0 would give an infinite increase, which is cool for ROI, but irrelevant for the competition!
  4. You are on the HONOR system, but you can be challenged by the community.
    1. If you're challenged, you must provide a screen print of stats.
    2. The community will then vote.
    3. If 4 out of 5 people (with a minimum of 5 votes), vote your stats look fabricated your out.
  5. Winner goes to the person that INCREASES the PERCENT of NUMBER of SALES over a 6-month period.
  6. Late entries welcome and encouraged.

I don't have a Ferrari to give away at the end of the competition. But simply being called the BEST of the BEST should be good enough for the REAL ACTION TAKER.

Plus the results you see will help you achieve Operation Total Freedom, not only in your business, but your personal life!

I'll try and post daily to summarize results. If we get enough people, I might set up something more sophisticated to monitor the competition. But for now we'll just use the forum posts.

Ok, in the next post I'll start the format of how to post results.

P.S. Please share this post with others so we can get a lot of people competing for the title, plus taking ACTION towards Operation Total Freedom! The short link is -> http://bit.ly/OTF2012. Add to your Warrior Forum Signature line to get the entire community involved!

      @ Clara, thanks

Even if I'm the only one posting, 2012 is my year!

I hope to compete and collaborate with you guys in The War Room!

Ok, here's how I think we should post.

      Format:

        • Final Sales
        • Percent Increase = (Final - Start)/Start x 100
      • Monthly Targets
      • Daily Sales
      • Sales Notes?

      Goals:
      • Starting: Average of 4 sales per day
      • Final: Average of 28 sales per day
      • Percent Increase: (28-4)/4 x 100 = 600%

      Targets:

      • Dec 2011: Average of 12 sales per day
      • Jan 2012: Average of 16 sales per day
      • Feb 2012: Average of 20 sales per day
      • Mar 2012: Average of 24 sales per day
      • Apr 2012: Average of 28 sales per day

Even though we won't start till November, I'll start posting now just to get things going.

      Oct Daily Sales:

        Sales Notes:
        • 10/21/11 - This month I'm just focusing on SEO and PPC.
        • 10/23/11 - Honestly reporting 0 sales in 3 days sucks. But reviewing my analytics, it looks like traffic during the weekend (F-Sun) for my keywords drops and so does my sales. I'll have to work on other traffic sources during these "slow days."
