Using The Law of Attraction To Get Checks In The Mail

The Law of Attraction is a powerful thing. For those of you who have not read the book 'The Secret' this will all be new to you. For those who have read it this is a great reminder of how to use it.

Bills come in the mail all the time. However, if you are focusing on bills then you will attract bills into your life.

Instead, before you open the bill pretend that it is a check and add a zero on to the end of it. Then spend some time being excited an imagining what you will do with the bill.

I have been doing this for a couple of weeks and I actually got money in the mail the other day. I got $50 and a card from my mum telling me to have a good weekend (I was going on holidays).

This could be a coincidence or it really could work.

Anyone else had experiences like this?

Yes, I have been doing it for months. I have received about a check a week that was unexpected. They are all for small amounts (less than $80) but it does start to add up over time.

Hey Ryan, lol I don't know about the imagining extra zeros on checks and all, but I can definitely say that once I stopped "worrying" and concentrating on making money, then I started making money. Same for holding money too tightly, you are actually choking the flow of it coming into your life.

Being thankful for what you have and what is coming is apart of each and every day for me. Then trying to help somone else really kicks that good Karma in.

No checks, but I did attract a $20 dollar bill.

It took two weeks to make it's way to me, but happened exactly when I needed it the most. (Strangely enough... in the black of the night, outside in the middle of a street I never cross.)

I used to think this was all BULL. Now... I don't know what I think, but I guess I have an open mind.

Hello Omari Taylor here,

I haven't been getting a lot of bills in the mail but I use to focus on not having enough money. Now I don't. I dream about my future and live with no worries about money and since then I've been recieving checks in the mail every month. One unexpected. An the amounts are growing each month. I believe in the law of attraction because it has worked for me and hope this post inspires others.

Read about it in 'The Secret', but have not tried it.

Most of the time when you see the mails from banks, you probably guess that it will be bills especially when you know that you did some(a lot) of spending the months/weeks before. I wonder how to think otherwise as suggest in 'The Secret' ? I'm a little puzzled here!

Unless, you see other kinds of 'foreign' mails which you don't get regularly, then there may be a chance that they are cheques instead ! Or if you deal with Clickbank or Paypal...when you see the letter cover from them, you may even guess/hope it is a cheque from them.

I try to stay relatively detached from money i.e. I donate when I can and pick food or drink tabs without that empty feeling of being stingy. As Kiyosaki says, you cannot "save" your way to prosperity.

I am doing this with finding parking places on a regular basis. Never failed me so far. So I know for sure it works. This thread reminded me that I can expand on it, not only with parking places, but with money as well. Why not? if it works with one, it gotta work with the other one too.

You need to find out what your negative thoughts about money are and start thinking the opposite.

I often think that money is hard to get and I have to keep reminding myself that it isn't hard to get.

Hehehe.. this is a clever idea!

Not only does it give you a good excuse to "practice" your manifesting, its an active way to re-pattern your brain.

There have been several posts here with the same concept - reassociate the mailbox with checks, and NOT with bills. As you start to "see" checks in the mail, your mind will have to make that true!

So, it will cause you to make decisions and take actions that increase the odds of checks in the mail. Even if its just on a subconscious level, it is working to make you right.

Personally I struggle with the idea of checks coming in the mail because I am always thinking about how they will come. My mind thinks that there is no chance that they will come, but I need to change this.

I am changing it by pretending that my bills are checks.

Also I am changing it by creating products to be sold via clickbank (where you get paid in checks).

Thats another good point - in addition to changing your thoughts, you need to take CONGRUENT action to allow the manifesting to take place.

Just manifesting checks in the mail won't do a whole lot... but taking action that has "checks in the mail" as an outcome is a great way to allow it to happen.

Also - as you mention, it gives your mind a reason to believe. "Checks in the mail are possible because of my Clickbank products"

The Secret is truely great...... I must say every one must see the movie and read the book. Explains in very simple ways about manifestation. After reading this post and the replies I assume the Secret is no more Secret.

To supplement my income i do some cabbing and i was sitting there reading the Secret, it was very quiet, 2 hrs with out a job. Soi started to visualise the on board computer and started to say to myself, "you will get a good job" I put down the book and started to drive, i had choices, turn left, right or go straight, i trusted my instincts or maybe the Universe was guiding me, then my on board computer lit up, there was a job for £50 and thats not all, as i dropped the last passenger of the group off, and don't ask me how it come up, but the Secret was mentioned. He said he was an actor and had read and practiced the Secret and he had just signed up for a new T.V series and had a £3000 Income Tax refund, so he believes.

Well after that I had on the trot 3 more jobs, £30, £26.50, £19.50.

Coincedence????????? or is it a lot deeper?

I now keep trying the positive affirmations and visual imagery ti help my life get on a more positive track.

Hvaent had the cheque in the post yet but it will come!

Yup, received 2 random checks during the past month. I read the Secret and its a great book. I was initially doubtful and skeptical. Then was told that if I send out the feelings of doubt, of course things would not really come to me. The universe is unsure whether I want the things with doubt.
Am getting better at visualising and becoming happy with the images of what I want coming to me. I have not cashed in the recent check yet, it sits on the table as a reminder to send out feelings of abundance.
I think it is a process and it will get easier with time. Hope you also get what you desire in life.

The law of attraction is a powerful thing. I am lucky at winning radio contests and such. I just imagine that I am the winner and I win. Checks in the mail are harder for me, or winning the lottery. It's all about visualization. I suggest reading the Attractor Factor by Joe Vitale for more pointers.

I wanted to get high end $12,000 printer to print archival quality artworks.
This stuff cost money.

So I visualized having this printer until my eyes and brains were almost popped out.

In 3 months I found that my friend artist bought that same printer and would be willing to share it with me because I help him with computer things.
As it turns out I ran cold feet on my own printing ideas but he still uses it and makes money from results.

So the lesson is:
Universe knows. You don't know a chicken ****. Trust it. You may wish anything you want but it's the Universe (God, Divine) decides. When. How. And whether.

It does work. I was happy to receive a large check in the mail from your mum too! Actually, I believe in the Law of Coincidence. The so called law of attraction is just the law of coincidence at work. That is why the LOA works sometimes and does not work all the time. If it really worked and was really a "law" it would be like the law of gravity - it would always work and for everyone. All that happens now is that the majority of people end up feeling like failures - like it's their fault checks aren't showing uo, et. It's a cruel tool to make money off of people who will beleive anything if enough people say it works.

I dont do the checks in the mail thing (or the car park thing as suggested in the secret) because its hard for me to visualise anything other than bills.
The first step is to have an attitude of gratitude, think of the things to be thankful for (yes i carry a rock!), focus on what you want and move from there.
I found the car exercise very powerful because it creates a feeling of having the car.

Thats why i dont use the checks in the mail visualisation, I just don't see it happening and would rather spend time on the parts of the secret i can put my whole being into.
Yet I have to disagree I think it can work for everyone all the time but just like anything people will quit because they get disheartened, its not the system necessarily at fault. And its funny what you say because yes if people feel like failures that's exactly what will happen. We have to change our mindsets to think about what we want rather than what we don't want, thats the whole point.

Just my opinion. I'll let you know if it works for me. My goal is £100, 000 by the end of the year.

Good luck to you. I certainly hope you get everything that you want and I mean that sincerely. My only point was that it seems so unfair to make people feel like failures because the Secret isn't working for them - for whatever reason. If you get your 100,000 this year it will be because you wanted it so much that you managed to work toward that goal and you got 'er done, as they say.

It is not because you sat on the sofa creating mind pictures and forgetting about the work involved to accomplish your goal. It's a mix of having a clear picture of what you want to accomplish, learning what needs to be done to get it, doing it, and not giving up until you get it.

The group that produced and marketed the Secret did a ton of work, with a lot of talent involved and a lot of publicity and hype and it worked. Just like any project done with skill and financial backing and the right use of marketing. The Law of Skillful Work seldom fails.

Taking action is one of the biggest things you need to do along with using the secret. You will get inspired thoughts of actions you can take. However, with checks in the mail sometimes there are no actions you can take to get checks in the mail. You just have to trust that they will come.

Never failed me so far. So I know for sure it works. This thread reminded me that I can expand on it, not only with parking places, but with money as well. Why not? if it works with one, it gotta work with the other one too.

Not only does it give you a good excuse to "practice" your manifesting, its an active way to re-pattern your brain. There have been several posts here with the same concept - reassociate the mailbox with checks, and NOT with bills. As you start to "see" checks in the mail, your mind will have to make that true! So, it will cause you to make decisions and take actions that increase the odds of checks in the mail. Even if its just on a subconscious level, it is working to make you right. Good stuff! Ron

Just manifesting checks in the mail won't do a whole lot... but taking action that has "checks in the mail" as an outcome is a great way to allow it to happen. Soi started to visualise the on board computer and started to say to myself, "you will get a good job" I put down the book and started to drive, i had choices, turn left, right or go straight, i trusted my instincts or maybe the Universe was guiding me, then my on board computer lit up, there was a job for £50 and thats not all, as i dropped the last passenger of the group off, and don't ask me how it come up, but the Secret was mentioned. He said he was an actor and had read and practiced the Secret and he had just signed up for a new T.V series and had a £3000 Income Tax refund, so he believes. Well after that I had on the trot 3 more jobs, £30, £26.50, £19.50. Coincedence????????? or is it a lot deeper? I now keep trying the positive affirmations and visual imagery ti help my life get on a more positive track. Hvaent had the cheque in the post yet but it will come! Regards, Michael

I read the Secret and its a great book. I was initially doubtful and skeptical. Then was told that if I send out the feelings of doubt, of course things would not really come to me. The universe is unsure whether I want the things with doubt. Am getting better at visualising and becoming happy with the images of what I want coming to me. I have not cashed in the recent check yet, it sits on the table as a reminder to send out feelings of abundance. I think it is a process and it will get easier with time. Hope you also get what you desire in life. Thoughts become things!

I am lucky at winning radio contests and such. I just imagine that I am the winner and I win. Checks in the mail are harder for me, or winning the lottery. It's all about visualization. I suggest reading the Attractor Factor by Joe Vitale for more pointers. Congrats and keep up the positive thinking.

This stuff cost money. So I visualized having this printer until my eyes and brains were almost popped out. In 3 months I found that my friend artist bought that same printer and would be willing to share it with me because I help him with computer things. As it turns out I ran cold feet on my own printing ideas but he still uses it and makes money from results. So the lesson is: Universe knows. You don't know a chicken . Trust it. You may wish anything you want but it's the Universe (God, Divine) decides. When. How. And whether.

Actually, I believe in the Law of Coincidence. The so called law of attraction is just the law of coincidence at work. That is why the LOA works sometimes and does not work all the time. If it really worked and was really a "law" it would be like the law of gravity - it would always work and for everyone. All that happens now is that the majority of people end up feeling like failures - like it's their fault checks aren't showing uo, et. It's a cruel tool to make money off of people who will beleive anything if enough people say it works.

The first step is to have an attitude of gratitude, think of the things to be thankful for (yes i carry a rock!), focus on what you want and move from there. I found the car exercise very powerful because it creates a feeling of having the car. Thanks for your nice thread tho and I hope you get loads of cheques in the email.

I certainly hope you get everything that you want and I mean that sincerely. My only point was that it seems so unfair to make people feel like failures because the Secret isn't working for them - for whatever reason. If you get your 100,000 this year it will be because you wanted it so much that you managed to work toward that goal and you got 'er done, as they say. It is not because you sat on the sofa creating mind pictures and forgetting about the work involved to accomplish your goal. It's a mix of having a clear picture of what you want to accomplish, learning what needs to be done to get it, doing it, and not giving up until you get it. The group that produced and marketed the Secret did a ton of work, with a lot of talent involved and a lot of publicity and hype and it worked. Just like any project done with skill and financial backing and the right use of marketing. The Law of Skillful Work seldom fails.
