How many people work with a company that sets you up with a mentor to help you get started on the right track?
I myself am working with a knowledgeable mentor who is into "power partnering", setting up partnering teams to build growth companies.

While I was still studying, we had a mentoring program that we could apply to at our university.

While my mentor was more of a "personality" than a "business" kind of mentor, it was still one of the best things I ever did. I am still in contact with him.

Learning from more experienced people is one of the most valuable things you could do - way more companies should offer this....

    Cheers,
    Rob

It can cut YEARS off of your learning curve if you have the right mentor. It really helps when you have someone there to show you the ropes. This helps you cut through all the BS and get straight down to learning the facts.

Mentor is important. They will be of great help to you especially if your mentor is kind and good enough to provide you anything you want.
