"The Meaning Of Life ..." (According to you, The Warriors)

Let's do something fun.

Let's answer the question the greatest thinkers of History have been trying to figure out.

What, in your opinion, is the meaning of life?

It doesn't have to be "The" meaning of life (unless you want it to be) it can just be your personal view of what's most important to you.

I've teamed up with (the great) Justin Lewis with this thread and - if we get enough responses - we have something cool that I think you'll like. It doesn't matter whether you reply is similar to other peoples just as long as it's in your own words.

Let's go.

For me it would probably have to be something like:

To learn how to love fully and completely, and be closer to "God."

Absolutely! And also living for others. That's the only way to live a very meaningful life.

    • the meaning of life is the subjective, personal attachment

that revolves around 3 things :

being loved, loving someone, or doing good works....that give you experiences of being alive.

For me life is "HAPPINESS". Memories of good and bad experiences, love others and being loved by others.

    Really great replies so far

For me it the meaning of life is something like...

We were brought here to help one another achieve our dreams, do miraculous things with technology, and ultimately create a world of prosperity and peace.

The last goal is a bit tough for our race though as we have different minds and live in a world where fighting and war is considered "cool".

I look forward to seeing the future.. I just hope it's a good one. I will do my best to be apart of the "good side".

LOL I read that as "the great tricksters of history"...

The pace of life moves so fast for me that at the end I think I'm only going to get a few moments to consider it all. I can barely remember what I was doing two weeks ago. Probably I'll be wondering what the hell happened that is causing my exit. So you likely just get a few seconds to see some flashed images that pop into your head, hopefully of happy memories (gosh it sure would suck to die thinking about that embarrassing high school moment...)

Who have you loved? What have you learned? Do you believe your existence had meaning?

    That's about it, imo.
