How To Attract More Money Into Your Life Starting Now

I have recently been reading the book The Secret and been learning about how to attract the things you want into your life. The Secret is a great book that anyone should read and I want to talk today about different ways to attract wealth into your life (after all that is why you are reading this blog).

When it comes to The Law of Attraction the first thing most people want to attract into their life is money. Then once they attract money the seek to attract romance, cars, homes, happiness and so much more. But money is a simple place to start.

So in order to attract money there are 7 different ways to do it:

1. Give Money Away

I know that this sounds counter productive, but there is a lot of power in giving money away. The more you give the more you will receive. It is a well known fact that all of the most wealthy people in the world give a ‘tithe’ of at least 10% of all their money and then even more when they feel inspired to.

Tithing is an idea that comes from the bible, but like a lot of things from the bible it works. Give and it will be given back to you. Even without a christian faith, like my own, tithing is an effective way to attract money.

A good tips is to give to the person or place or group that keeps your spirit most alive. Have a think about where you were most inspired this week and give to that cause. Also make sure you give money freely knowing it will come back to you. Don’t give with a stingy spirit or you will receive nothing.

2. Get It Straight

Many people have core beliefs that are stopping themselves from attracting a lot of money. Core beliefs such as

Money is evil
Only arrogant people have money
Wanting money is greedy
I don’t deserve to be rich
Money is hard to get
and many more will hold you back from attracting wealth. You need to change these beliefs. Don’t try to NOT believe them to be true but instead say other things and believe them to be true. Say to yourself
Money is the power to do good
Generous people have money
To want money is to want a better life for myself and others
I deserve to be rich
Money is easy to come by
By saying these things to yourself and CHOOSING to believe them then by contradiction you cannot believe your old way of thinking. By thinking a fresh way about money you can attract it to you.

3. Take Action

The world is full of people who learn but never take action. Sometimes miracles do happen and praise God for that. But most of the time we need to take action to achieve what we desire.
There is loads of information on this site alone that can make you lots of money and you only need to take action. I have a joint venture starting today where you can earn money from freelance writing (if this is successful I am going to release an ebook). All that you need to go from where you are to millionaire status is the implementation of one idea. So start taking action.

4. Get a Larger Purpose

One of the reasons I said above that can cause you to push away money is that you feel you do not deserve it. The way to get around this is to want money for something more than yourself. Compassion International help starving children all around the world and raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for them will remove any of my limitations towards attractng prosperity.

When you do it for a worthy cause you know that the money is deserved and therefore it is easier to attract. Though you will not get money back from these causes as you give it, you will get it back through contacts and goodwill that you have created.

5. Get Support

Get a ‘rich old guy’. Someone who is further down the track than you, knows a little more than you and can help you achieve your dreams. Though I don’t have someone I specifically go to I try my best to learn from the best and do joint ventures with those who are successful.

Don’t settle for what you know or what you can read from a book. Get out there and get someone to teach you. Offer to pay them a percentage of what you earn as an incentive for them to teach you.

You can also get a ‘mastermind’ team of people around you who are striving to achieve success. You can bounce ideas off each other and push each other forward.

6. Be Grateful

Newton’s third law of motion says that ever action incurs an equal and opposite reaction. This is physics. However, this does not just apply to physical things but also to mental and spiritual things. By being grateful and seeing out gratefulness from your thoughts you can can a reaction that will bring prosperity into your life.

Start by saying in your head, as you get up in the morning, the things you are grateful for. You will be amazed at the results over a few months of doing this consistently.

7. Do What You Love To Do

I love to write, so I am now a writer. There is no sense being at a job that you hate. So if you are at one of those jobs then learn to enjoy your job or change jobs. Passion is your ticket to financial freedom. Get passionate about something and that will drive you to success.

The best way is to ask yourself what you would do even if you were not being paid to do it. Personally, I blogged for 18 months before I was paid anything to do it and still I don’t get paid a lot to do it. What do you love to do and go for it?

Now, when doing these things above always expect that you are attracting money and constantly look around asking “I wonder how lots of money will come to me today”. This will keep you looking out for opportunities, meaning you can take them when they present themselves.

Yeah I agree with what you say.....I have read "The Secret" and have studied The Law Of Attraction, which is what "The Secret" is all about. Some people think that there is some mystical force governing our "success" in life but really in order to be successful in life, whether financially or emotionally, you have to go through stages to get there, starting from a definate Plan, then you must have Faith that it will work then Visualize your end Goal!!

What you really need to do in order to be successful in life is all of these things and stay focused at all times, being prepared to work your "Butt Off" in the process and never giving up, even when things aren't going your way.

There is no magical formula to success......Just a lot of hard, focused work!!

Gratitude is an important step that we must make in order to manifest something. By being grateful, we are able to tune our mind to the positive side instead of the negative side which is important in the LOA.

I usually end my daily mediation session with a gratitude prayer. There is some powerful visualization that goes with it, but here is the basics (edit it to work for you:

Thank you for my loving and supportive wife
Thank you for my incredible children
Thank you for my strong body and powerful mind
Thank you for the abundance that flows into my life
Thank you for my wonderful family and friends
Thank you for the health of us all
Thank you for this land and these people
Thank you for this planet, which hangs like a pearl in the sky
Thank you for the sun which provides heat, light and order for the solar system
Thank you for this beautiful spiral galaxy of which our sun is a tiny speck
Thank you for the infinite potential and boundless love of the universe

You can be happy internally and content within yourself spiritually. But money does help you do a lot of things that make you happy.
Wouldn't you be happier owning a $5 MILLION mansion than living in the street
Wouldn't you be happier having an awesome car than a bomb that breaks down all the time.
Wouldn't you be happier to give your kids anything they want instead of struggling to make ends meet and always having to say "no we can't afford that".

Rayn, What I am saying is that "things" do not make you happy. Yes you will feel more secure having somewhere to live. You will feel more secure having a reliable car, no it does not have to awesome. Please, please, please understand this...there is no happiness inside those things. And you might "think" that possessing those things will make you feel happy. Ah..hah...that's the rub, "feel happy." The happiness is a feeling inside of you. You can feel happy with OR without those things.

I really try not to think about money all the time. but sometimes you just can't help yourself. If I see someone headed in the wrong direction I try to help them if I can. That seems to allow me to focus on helping instead of thinking about money.

Make no mistake, I need money just like every one else and will continue to collect my share, if I'm lucky try not to think about to much.

I have to say one thing that is so therapeutic for me...it's making money!

I know you are saying..duh!!

No, let me explain.

One thing I suggest to everyone is to concentrate on one method of making money that pays you some money daily or at least regularly, no matter what the amount is.

Focus on promoting some type of continuity item..either one that is a consumable that runs out and has to be re-ordered, or a service like hosting fees.

I promise you when you know you are making money on auto mode....everyday you wake up you will be so motivated...every sleep will be great, every day you will be more generous with money and not be a miser with it and that increases the flow that comes to you.

give it a try...works for me.

I am expressing gratitude for the things I have and want. A great family, good health, clean planet and no worries... thats all I need.

I have faith that anything I NEED to accomplish (ie that I have an internal drive to accomplish) will be done, and I will be given the resources (like money, equipment, etc.) to do it.

You must take care to have the RIGHT priorities for yourself, otherwise you will always be fighting against your true nature and no one wins that way.

I suggest that the priorities of "clarity" and "happiness" are good places to start. If you can get those straight, then everything else is a cakewalk!

I like the way you are thinking. If we desire for things then we will always attract a desire for things. That is why we need to feel as if we already have them. That way the universe will order things so that we do have them. You are right on the money with this.

It is definately possible. It should be believable for you though. I like to start with smaller things. Like increasing my income by $100 each week or something like that.

I tithe 10% of my monthly earnings to the Church and I also give through Kiva. I always notice that the results are almost instant. Like when I got home and check my email, an old client would send me loads of projects to do and I'd have several inquiries from my website. There was a time when I recouped my 10% tithe in just one day-- no kidding, really!

When you give, give with a joyful heart and believe that God will bless you tremendously for your generosity. I think the ultimate Law of Attraction book is the Bible itself.

Wow, this is a really great encouragement. I give often to my church but I have never seen a monetary return like you. Though I have always seen a return in my relationships and in life in general.
One day I would love to get a monetary return on my tithing investment

I like to give into the things that inspire me the most. Sometimes they are friends and family, sometimes it is church, sometimes it is a variety of random things.

I would totally agree with this post! I think the key is giving with a joyful heart though. The amount you give doesn't matter nearly as much when your heart is in the right place.

1. Give Money Away

Well, you'll make more money if you give more money away ONLY IF you make a good investment. If you give money away for liabilities and stuff that takes money out of your pocket, and if you take a lot of money away, I doubt you'll get back more (just because it sounds "ethical." and keeps the spirit alive).

It's a choice. You want to give people fish or teach them how to fish? Giving money away is giving people fish, and when the basket is empty, they'll look for more, instead of fishing themselves.

I've often pondered how giving away money can bring someone more money. From a karmic prospective it may be true that giving will bring more money back to you. But I think the real "magic" happens in the attitude of giving. By giving money away - you are thinking like a rich abundant person. By thinking like this - your attitude toward money changes - and resistance to being rich is released.

Am a big fan of "The Secret" and "Law of Attraction", and I have my fair share of the books and CDs from Ester Hicks/Abraham

So this thread resonates with me.

There are many instances of my life that I've thought of and manifested - way before I knew about this Law. Looking back, I did "put" some feelings into them, so I guess that helped

And I naturally believed in it when I first saw "The Secret" years ago. I don't do much of the gratitude stuff or have experience giving money to receive it back, though I am always grateful for what I have or people that I am indebted to, and always aim to pay folks more that their value (as I want people to do that same back to me

.

Since I became aware of visualization, Psycho Cybernetic, being in the vibe stuff - which I guess is related - I have some challenges applying it consistently and correctly to manifest bigger goals. Not sure if anyone had success with these, would greatly appreciate being pointed in the right direction

Personally, I blogged for 18 months before I was paid anything to do it and still I don’t get paid a lot to do it. What do you love to do and go for it? Now, when doing these things above always expect that you are attracting money and constantly look around asking “I wonder how lots of money will come to me today”. This will keep you looking out for opportunities, meaning you can take them when they present themselves.

Some people think that there is some mystical force governing our "success" in life but really in order to be successful in life, whether financially or emotionally, you have to go through stages to get there, starting from a definate Plan, then you must have Faith that it will work then Visualize your end Goal!! Ah..hah...that's the rub, "feel happy." The happiness is a feeling inside of you. You can feel happy with OR without those things.

I know you are saying..duh!! No, let me explain. One thing I suggest to everyone is to concentrate on one method of making money that pays you some money daily or at least regularly, no matter what the amount is. Focus on promoting some type of continuity item..either one that is a consumable that runs out and has to be re-ordered, or a service like hosting fees. I promise you when you know you are making money on auto mode....everyday you wake up you will be so motivated...every sleep will be great, every day you will be more generous with money and not be a miser with it and that increases the flow that comes to you. give it a try...works for me.

I always notice that the results are almost instant. Like when I got home and check my email, an old client would send me loads of projects to do and I'd have several inquiries from my website. There was a time when I recouped my 10% tithe in just one day-- no kidding, really! When you give, give with a joyful heart and believe that God will bless you tremendously for your generosity. I think the ultimate Law of Attraction book is the Bible itself.

If you give money away for liabilities and stuff that takes money out of your pocket, and if you take a lot of money away, I doubt you'll get back more (just because it sounds "ethical." and keeps the spirit alive). It's a choice. You want to give people fish or teach them how to fish? Giving money away is giving people fish, and when the basket is empty, they'll look for more, instead of fishing themselves.

There are many instances of my life that I've thought of and manifested - way before I knew about this Law. Looking back, I did "put" some feelings into them, so I guess that helped And I naturally believed in it when I first saw "The Secret" years ago. I don't do much of the gratitude stuff or have experience giving money to receive it back, though I am always grateful for what I have or people that I am indebted to, and always aim to pay folks more that their value (as I want people to do that same back to me . Since I became aware of visualization, Psycho Cybernetic, being in the vibe stuff - which I guess is related - I have some challenges applying it consistently and correctly to manifest bigger goals. Not sure if anyone had success with these, would greatly appreciate being pointed in the right direction Also in case anyone wants a great resource on Goals and Intention Manifestation etc. which I follow and am constantly learning new stuff.
