Default How You Should Approach Learning

The internet is full of information and we are bombarded with new things to learn every single day. Learning, however, will not add to your life unless you take action with what you have learnt.

I recently started a post in here asking people if they agreed with the quote "The more you learn the more you earn" and it was an overwhelming response that it is not true. The quote should be "The more you take action with what you learn the more you earn".

So with this is mind this is the method I use for learning and I recommend you try it too.

1. Learn One Thing
2. Take Action
3. Learn One Thing
4. Take Action
5. Etc

So often we are so busy learning 100 things that we never take action with any of them. It is better to try and learn just ONE thing and then take action with that to make you more money or to make your life better...then once you are putting it into practice you can start learning something new.

This is what I have been doing for the past few months and it has worked wonders for me. I learnt about affiliate marketing and I took action, now I am learning about subscriber lists and I am taking action. I don't know what I will learn about next.

So learn one thing at a time and focus on implementing it. Otherwise you will end up being one of those critics who know everything yet do nothing.

Knowledge is NOT Power until Knowledge is Applied.
You will have to 'focus, focus and focus' in doing the things you want to do and not let all the 'shining, bright opportunities' distract you from what you want to do.

It is not power until it is applied.

By learning one thing and take action immediately is a great way to achieve results. There are people who have so much knowledge but do not take action and those are the people who did not achieve as much as the action takers.

Tip Re: How You Should Approach Learning

Hello Omari Taylor Here,

Great post. By learning and taking action right away then doing it again and again and again. You get to see what works for you and what doesn't. Also you are continuing to learn and you have more value to others. Which means you make more money because the more you know the more you get paid. But knowing isn't enough. You must take action. And this post shows you how to learn correctly. Again great post and best wishes to everyone.

Omari Taylor

@ MarketingInfoProducts - But you still need to take the steps of action. Your knowledge will continue to be useless unless you take action with it

Thinking is the hardest thing to do, that's why so few people engage in it.

I respectfully disagree
I think taking action is the hardest thing. Loads of people learn how to make money online, but only a few take action

Ryan, you are TAKING ACTION on what you thought of! First you must "think it." Nothing you see in your world existed before someone thought of it, they created it in their mind, then someone maybe theirself, took action to make it real. Please understand I did not say "learning" was the hardest thing to do, people learn many things, take no action and make no money. Somebody, probably YOU had to "THINK" of your ebook "Secrets of Affiliate Marketing" that thinking was hard, then you took action, wrote the book and now you market and sell it. (I apoligize this will not un bold, sorry.)

I agree. But for me, not taking action is a MEANING of expressing that "something" is actually stopping you from doing it. In the sense of fear, too much thinking, not convincing enough....

I think THAT is what prevents many people. No the "taking action", but the MEANING behind not taking action....

That is a really good point. I have never thought of the 'why' behind why people don't take action. It is important for us to address that in ourselves and to helps others address it too so they can be successful

I really do agree.."the more you take action with what you learn the more we earn". It is how we used the gift that we have and how we develop it to achieve positive effects.

What we have learnt really is a gift that we have. We should always be learning more to develop it and we should always be acting to develop it even further.

I actually believe that you learn more by taking action than just by learning. By taking action you really fid out what works and what doesn't

Think about it this way
We can sit in the sun for hours and get nothing more than a bit of sunburn.
However, take that same sunlight and focus it to a point through a magnifying glass and you will burn a hole through your skin.
If you focus your effort by learning one thing then you can accomplish a lot more. Do not multitask when learning
