How Badly Do YOU Want It?

Want what?...

Success? Money coming in regularly? Whatever you want?

If you want anything in this world, it doesn't matter what it is, you can have it - if you just want it badly enough.

And assuming you do want something badly enough...

...you won't mind pulling out all the stops to get to wherever it is you want to be.

Hurdles? Obstacles? Rocks in your path? If you've got a true helicopter entrepreneurial mindset on your shoulders, you'll do whatever it takes to bring your plan into fruition.

And now, with 2012 just around the corner, you get to make a brand new start. Discarding anything and everything which to date has been holding you back. Procrastination? Not enough focus? Perhaps not enough time to bring your dreams into reality?

Enough of the excuses already. If you want something badly enough nothing and it's worth repeating, nothing is going to hold you back from coming good on your dreams.

Yes there's a huge recession out there, yes it's hard work, yes times are difficult for a lot of people but those guys and lasses who have separated themselves from the pack, are still making incredible fortunes even in this down economy.

It's simply a case of adjusting your head space and the competitive advantage and benefits which you can bring to the table - to the marketplace.

Those people totally gunning for it in this recession, they're no different to you, the thing that is going in their favor is their mindset, exploiting every possible opportunity to bring their dreams into reality.

They've got a vision.

They can visualize their ideal outcome.

They've got laser focus and they'll do whatever it takes to make it happen.

It all comes down to having one good idea and the strategy and tactics to bring your dream to life.

Now, how badly do you want it?

Merry Christmas!

    Thanks, Mark.

I think until recently my answer to this has been "not badly enough," but after losing a friend to cancer recently I've realized just how short life really is, and I'm motivated to go after what I have "said" I want.

Good food for thought in your post.

I turned out to find my marketable skills and want it badly enough to make many bids on average $300 dollar plus freelancing work. Got a request for interview on a $450 dollar job, this is HUGE to me as it is my first possibility of a job of any major significance. Filled out my profile to 100, inserted portfolios and ID verified at oDesk. This is a big start. I have several more job slots to start to bid on. I wanted it quite badly, until, this last week it bubbled over "all over the kitchen" so to speak.

well who doesn't want success, money however it really difficult if one doesn't set a goal or target to reach in particular time frame and more important is focus especially when it comes to IM as there is so much distraction and thats the reason 95-97% of ppl fail in IM due to lack of focus.

Therefore its really important to have a goal one and should focus towards achieving it. No need to rush if you take one step at a time money, success will come automatically.

Not quite. Almost yes. But still not quite.

An expectancy that just by simply doing all of the required steps doesn't give you an automatic privilege to enjoy the fruits which you think should naturally follow.

What it does mean is going above and beyond constantly to deliver the best you can, to serve the needs of others, to help others achieve their goals. Going the extra mile and continuously pulling out every stop possible to bring the next step directly in to clear focus to fulfill your vision.

It's this kind of constant laser focus and attention to detail which propels you ever forwards. In fact, when you build up enough momentum the process becomes easier but at the start it might take a great deal of effort on your part to get the ball rolling in your favor.

Success doesn't come automatically. It takes constant vigilance with one eye on the goal, the other eye paying attention to the detail. Small incremental steps in this process, never giving up, never considering failure as an option is your recipe for the success you think you deserve.

You've got to put in the effort, the action, to make it happen!

Sometimes you need to jump on the treadmill until you pass out to make a difference in your life.

A treadmill only goes round in circles though my friend and whilst you're on top of it, you actually go nowhere but stay forever fixed in the same spot.

You can run as fast as you like on a treadmill but still get nowhere.

What people need is to find their real pathway to success and start walking it for real.

        GREAT post Mark!

The answer for most people is simply ...not enough.

Most people don't take time to think about what they actually want, let alone write down a worthy ideal and then do everything they can towards achieving it.

Remember Sean Connery in the film, The Untouchables? He held Kevin Costner and said ..."What are you prepared to do?'

        Goosepimples all round!
