Yep. I've been reading and collecting them since I can remember. My favourite is one my Brother gave me but I've already posted that a couple of times. I created my own after a liberating experience.

This is a great thread. I also have been making a habit of collecting and sharing quotes.

In fact I have a blog of inspirational quotes by subject. I cannot post links yet but if you google 'transformation ron sedlak' (copy and paste) you will get it as about the 5th ranking on the page. Look for 'transformation at will'.

Bookmark it and you will have an ever increasing source of quotes by subject.

Just joined the forum. Yes, I too love inspirational quotes.
I researched lots for my book: How to be Happy: A Practical Guide.
My absolote favourite quote is from Walden by Henry David Thoreau:

I have many quotes I read when I need inspiration, but my all time favourite is this (long) one :

Not only do I collect quotation books and have a file for quotations I find online, but at risk of sounding vain, I have a file of some of my own best lines from different writings. It really isn't a vanity thing. It's just handy to have that "just right" phrase on hand when I'm working. It's also inspirational to read some of them when I'm feeling low or thing aren't going right. I highly recommend the practice! Here's one of my favorite quotes of me:

Each day is your canvas. You are the artist. Paint a masterpiece on as many days as you are able and your life will become a work of art.
