I Tripled My Business By Using The Secret

There is so much talk about the Secret and the Law of Attraction that I thought I would share my success story with you guys.

I bought the secret in November 08 and loved it. I decided to use it to create wealth. I put a $100,000 check above my bed (because I want to earn that much this year), I have a dream board, and I often imagine my future life (where I will be rich).

One day I was at work (I do a part time job as a sales assistant) and all day I was just thinking about my $100,000 lifestyle. How good it would be and I was feeling the feelings of having that.

The very next day I got what I believe to be a $1,000,000 idea. I am not going to tell you what it is because that is my secret. This was less than a month ago that I had this idea.

I have now been implementing this idea and my business has tripled in just one month.

It took me 10 months at my current blog to build up an RSS subscriber base of 300 subscribers. It took me 2 years before that of blogging and failing to find a blog a could actually stick to.

In the last 30 days (or less) my RSS subscribers have gone from 300 to 1,000!!!

This is all because I used the secret. So it does work.

The law of attraction / the secret STINKS.

It wasn't THE SECRET that helped this member go from 300 to 1000 subscribers, it was an idea that was put into action. That's all it was. It was, is and never will be a secret, it is simply putting ideas into action.

I partly agree with you Stephen. I don't believe in LOA in the sense that it's metaphysical and vibrations are sent out to The Universe. That's just my opinion though. I could be wrong. I do believe that what we concentrate on will help us reach our gaols and attract people into our life though.

You know it's not cool to keep posting your opposing opinion when someone is sharing something that is working for them and something they're passionate about. It's perfectly OK not to agree with LOA however there are betters ways of contributing to a group discussion. Just a heads up mate.

I know this thread is not about LOA but since we are talking about it now I have to chime in.

The "universe" is your own mind. When you focus on something you gravitate to it.

Police know that most accidents wind up with someone hitting a pole. The thinnest thing on the road but when your car loses control you focus on the pole because you don't want to hit it. Then BANG you do.

If you focus on the things you want your MIND aligns itself with the things it needs to do to get there.

Congratulations on the growth of your business. However, you didn't mention the amount of action you took to reach your goal. I believe you must have a vision but also know you have to put the right actions into play.

I have also been a big fan of 'The Secret' and have used the ideas and concepts a lot in my online business. I highly recommend for people to buy the DVD if you haven't seen it already. It's worth watching in my opinion.

Well it s depend upon phase to phase, every business and requirements has it own law of attraction .

So we need to identify them and implement techniques to get the best out of it.

Hmmm I have not shared my secret on how I did this. This is because I am going to turn this into an information product that I will sell in the near future. It is a brilliant idea that I have not seen any one talk openly about before.

Well I have reached my goal of 1,000 RSS subscribers and I am now pushing forward onto bigger and better goals.
I want to have 2,000 Subscribers before April and I want to have 15,000 RSS subscribers by the end of the year. Big goals, but I know I can achieve them.

Imagine the influence you would have if you have 15,000 subscribers.

As I've been telling people over an over again, it's our subconscious mind that tells us to be efficient and hardworking so we can attain our goals. When we think about our $1,000,000 lifestyle over and over again, we think of ideas that are worth $1,000,000. The key is to implement that idea. Think of Jack Canfield. He wrote a $100,000 check, looked at it, dreamed about. One day, he got this $100,000 idea and was immediately excited to implement it. That's the Chicken Soup of the Soul series. Look at him now, he's worth millions. It's all bout of ideas put into action plus the burning desire to reach his $100,000 goal.

I highly recommend The Secret. (The Book). It is true that it doesn't give you an action plan or something to follow, but it doesn't matter. I took away something bigger and better from The Secret. The Secret taught me that I am the creator of my own world. Obviously, I already know that, but to see it in writing cements it in my mind. The message couldn't be any louder: "Get off your lazy butt and start creating!!... Take action... Create and contribute everyday and everything else is just details."

I too have a million dollar idea that is in BIG need of being put into practice. This idea is so big that I can keep building on it for lifetimes. I won't go into details, but think about Microsoft's and Nintendo's products. How many products do they have? How were the vast majority of those products created?

Anyway, I have had some moderate success with DoyleSoft. In the future, I am poised to make more from the site in a single day then I have in five years! THAT'S exciting!

The secret doesnt have a definate action plan. I am reading The 4 Hour Work Week at the moment and I think that reading that after having read the secret is great. It still doesn't give you a specific action plan but talks to you about being productive and I think that being productive whilst using the secret is the key to success

From what I can tell, our actions - including our thinking - attract to us OPPORTUNITIES.

Forget attracting "stuff", focus on changing your actions and attracting opportunities.

I was training with a "medicine man" years ago....

His advice on such things was very useful...

"Take the mystical, and find the practical within it."

Change your focus, change your thinking, change your actions, change your opportunities, change your world.

Maybe that's the real secret!

No I definately think you need to focus on the stuff. Because by focusing on the stuff opportunities to obtain the stuff will arise. By focusing on opportunities then opportunities to get more opportunities is all you will get

I really enjoyed the ‘Secret,’ how much I believe in it… well I can’t say, but the ideas behind it have motivated me to really concentrate on the things I must do in order to succeed. I watch it several times a month just to keep my level of concentration high.

Whether you believe in the secret or not, use whatever motivates you to move towards success and then enjoy the fruits of your labor.
there is no need to bash anyone for something they believe helped them attain a level of success, even if you are jealous because you can't motivate yourself.
They have worked hard to produce results, why not spend your own time finding out what motivates you and get on with it.

The Secret is an updated version of a long line of books that teach that our thoughts are the most powerful force we have... for better or worse.

I would highly reccomend Dan Kennedy's updated version of Psycho-Cybernetics. The book has been used for decades by top performers in all walks of life to turn thoughts into reality. Including the the great guru Dan Kennedy himself.

Everyone in that book began with specific mental pictures and thoughts followed by action. One or the other alone does not work. It is the combination of the two that brings success in life.

She does well to not share the secret that helped her increase her subscribers. In due
time she can leverage this knowledge to further increase her profits (and hence fulfill
her vision).

The purpose of the post was to give further testimony to the power of visualization, LOA
and so on, not to give away her business tactics and strategies ;°)

The Secret is a very enlightening book. I for years wished I didn't have to go work everyday. I would say daily I don't want to work anymore and lucky for me 5 months ago I lost my job. I do believe I attracted that. Which brought me to this internet world.

I agree with this, all the Secret is is self-motivation. But some people need to be told to get up and do what they already know so the secret does serve a useful purpose.
