THE REASON FOR FAILURES

Too many times you have asked yourself this question "Why can't I see a change in my life? I come to church three times a week, give my tithes and my offerings, make prayers - but I don't seem to be able to change my situation." So all who find yourselves in this dilemma, please read this carefully beginning with the Bible verses above in Mark 3:27 and Luke 11:21-22.

The Lord Jesus revealed through these verses that when a person is not yet delivered, there is a "strong man" (what we call the "head demon") that controls that person's life.
The strong man is the principal demon, the one that found its way into that person's life first, which is why he considers himself the owner of that life.

If the strong man is the first demon who worms his way into a person's life, he's also the last to go. And as long as this head demon stays, he will make sure the person will experience failure after failure.

When someone first comes to the Lord Jesus, it is almost guaranteed that he or she has one or more demons at work in their life. But as this person begins to seek his deliverance through prayer, those weaker demons who were working under the head demon are cast out. The symptoms that were caused by those demons disappear as they are cast out.

But the head demon, or the strong man, is not so willing to leave because he knows this means he will become homeless - in other words, if he is cast out of his "palace," he will have to search for another one.

So this strong man arms himself with all that he can in order to keep that person safely under his control. And this sets the stage for the battle. The strong demon will take advantage of the person's weaknesses in order to impede or at least delay his deliverance. The truth is that many people in the church who have experienced some change - but not a total change - are still under the influence of that head demon. That's why they have received a few blessings, but overall their lives remain tied-up.

But this battle doesn't mean that the head demon is so strong that he can resist the power and authority of the Lord Jesus. Absolutely not! This battle must be seen like this:

The head demon
vs.
Jesus & the person
If the battle were only between the devil and the Lord Jesus, there is no doubt about who would win. But the point is that there is a person involved here - and it's this person's will and determination to fight that decides who will win the battle. Jesus is stronger by far, but we can actually block Him from defeating our enemies.

If you have been to church a long time but your life has not progressed as it should, according to the promises of God, then you should examine your life carefully. You may still be bound up by the strong man. If this is the case, you must fight for your total deliverance. You must enter into a pact with God to be completely faithful to Him; decide to fight against this devil in your life and get him out no matter what. Fast, pray, make your chain of prayer and don't break it.

If you are determined to be free, there is no demon that can stop you.

  • Failure, just like abandoning one's studies, is never due to a single cause but to an accumulation of reasons.

The main reasons for failure are:

      1) The fear of failure.

      2) Not believing you can succeed at your chosen goal.

If you work at building up your belief in yourself, slowly but surely you will
reach your goal when your belief is strong enough.

Think of anyone who has achieved great success in any field, sports, film, business. They all stress the importance of believing in yourself.

    "If you think you are beaten, you are;
If you think you dare not, you don't!
If you'd like to win, but you think you can't,
    It's almost certain you won't."
