Well mine might not be your typical energetic run around with a headset kind of motivational speaker but personally I like listening to Warren Buffett. He has a lot of good points about leadership and being an entrepreneur.

Bob Proctor is great. I really enjoy listening to Frank Kern, not so much a motivational speaker but is still very entertaining. |

I'm surprised that nobody at ALL mentioned Dave Ramsey. He actually had a lot of decent ideas and put them in motion. The only thing I didn't like was that in his FIRST dvd, he pretty much took an HOUR of nothing but analogies of the exact same thing. I didn't watch all of his stuff, but it wasn't bad. I noticed that everybody mentioned Tony Robbins. I've heard of him, but never heard anything from him. I think I'll have to look him up some. |

I think I may be crazy, but I never get motivated by motivational speakers. Instead, I get motivated by historical figures, athletes legendary heroes, or completely strange fictional characters. ACTIONS motivate me more than words do. Thus, I would have to say Tyler Durden (performed by Brad Pitt) in the movie Fight Club, Frank Zane and Tom Platz from the bodybuilding world, Mark Twight from the rock-climbing world, and John Brzenk from the armwrestling world. Also, I find Navy SEAL David Goggins to be one of the most motivational men ever. Search for his name on Youtube. |

There are so many great speakers listed here and Tony Robbins, Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, Dave Ramsey, Brian Tracy. They are all excellent. One I haven't seen here is Tom Hopkins. I got to have lunch with him once and he motivates even during the meal. Just a great guy, down to earth and his early life experiences crack me up and make me cry all at the same time. I saw someone mentioned Nik Vujicic. Man, what that guy does with no hands or feet just takes all your excuses away in life. I found the youtube videos of him incredibly motivational. Just amazing. I truly believe that the most important motivational speaker you'll ever hear is from that wee small voice in the back of your head. and the really useful part is that you can train it to say whatever you want. It can be constantly motivating you, relentlessly, using other speaker's material without worry of copyright infringement. Listen to it any time you need a surge of energy or positive reinforcement. It it with you every moment of the day. Sure, listen to other speakers, but play back their content via your own voice. And watch your results really take off. Just a thought. cheers, Steve Manning |

Tony Robbins hands down. He really cares can light a fire within you, then gives you the fuel(skills) to keep the fire going. I got involved with Tony over 20 years ago and not only has my life changed. I have been able to help so many people with his teachings. |

I like Bob Proctor for the spiritual stuff. As a martial artist, I have to go with Bruce Lee - the man was brilliant. |
