Lightbulb Try These Gratitude Exercises for 30 Days

A few years ago I was introduced to the amazing power of Gratitude and it has completely changed my life.

It is impossible to bring more into your life if you are feeling ungrateful about what you already have. Why? Because the thoughts and feelings you emit as you feel ungrateful are all negative emotions and they will attract more of those feelings and events into your life.

Be grateful for what you already have in your life now!

As you think of these things you will start to attract more things to be grateful for. Think about your family, friends, house, car, clothes, heating, cooling, electricity, fresh food, water, etc. Sometimes it’s easy to focus on what we don’t have but we must be grateful for what we already have before we can attract more good into our lives.

When you are in a sincere state of gratitude your energy and vibration is one of acceptance and harmony. You resonate and project a much higher frequency which attracts to you the events, conditions, and circumstances that you desire.

Think of yourself as a giant magnet. Whatever you are feeling, whether it be love, fear, anger, happiness, anger, joy or gratitude. You are creating a magnetic force that attracts and draws to you events, conditions and circumstances which are in direct correlation to what you are feeling. Fear of something creates a magnetic force that will attract more of what you fear. Expressing Gratitude for any situation projects a magnetic force that draws to you even more things to be grateful for!

Here are 2 powerful processes to start the attraction of gratitude and appreciation:

Process 1- Gratitude Book

Purchase a nice book with blank pages and write 'Gratitude Book' on the front. The left side of the page is for Gratitude Now and the right side of the page is for Gratitude in the Future.

Gratitude Now
Every morning write down 5 things that you are currently Grateful for. Start each line with 'I am truly grateful for .......'. When you really start focusing on gratitude you will be amazed by how many things you can come up with!

Gratitude in the Future
On the right side of the page write down 5 things that you are Grateful for in the future. Start each line with 'I am so happy and grateful now that .....' . Choose goals that you want to achieve in the future and be grateful for them in the present moment. Feel the emotion as if you have already achieved your goal and visualise yourself in the picture.

As you start to focus on the things that you are grateful for and lock into the frequency of Gratitude you will start to attract more things to be grateful for. Instead of focusing on lack and limitation you will now be focusing on health, wealth and abundance. By feeling Gratitude for future goals we are raising our vibration to the level required to manifest those goals in our physical reality.

Process 2 (from the famous book ‘The Secret’):

“Every night before you fall asleep, give heartfelt thanks for the wonderful day you just had (no matter what kind of day you had). Think about the next day, and intend that it is going to be wonderful. Intend that it is going to be the best day of your entire life. Intend that it is going to be filled with love and joy. Intend that all good is coming to you and everything is going to flow perfectly.

Then when you wake up in the morning, BEFORE you get out of bed, again declare your intentions for the day and give deep thanks as though you have received them all. As you do this, you will begin to create your life deliberately and you will experience first hand the power that is within you to create the life that you desire”

One of my favorite books of all time is The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D Wattles. One entire chapter in this book is dedicated to the subject of Gratitude. Here are a few powerful quotes from the book:

“First, you believe that there is one intelligent substance from which all things proceed. Second, you believe that this substance gives you everything you desire. Third and Final, you relate yourself to it by a feeling of deep and profound gratitude”

“The more gratefully we fix our minds on the supreme when good things come to us, the more good things we will receive, and the more rapidly they will come”.

The Science of Getting Rich has some fantastic principles and I suggest reading it multiple times.

Start expressing sincere Gratitude and appreciation for everything in your life today and you will soon start attracting even more things to be Grateful for!

Action Step

Start the Gratitude process today by replying to this thread and list 5 things that you are grateful for now and 5 things that you are grateful for in the future.

Try it for 30 consecutive days and you will be amazed by what starts to manifest in your life!

G'day Brad, firstly, I would like to say a big THANK YOU for sharing this wonderful post with you

You are just an amazing young man who live an abundance life! I am so blessed to know you from the Forum.

I was once introduced to this idea, Attitude of Gratitude, in a book called The Science of Getting Rich and in the Personal Development seminars, since then, I start to practice the Gratitude Exercise you mentioned as above.

hahaha... my life is completely changed!

I am now like a living positive Magnet, all wealth, abundance, opportunities, fantastic network, whatever I can think of and want start attract themselves to me effortlessly
I am so blessed that I actually give myself a chance to put this little Gratitude into practice!

May be some of you will ask this question: "Grace, are you crazy? How can you be grateful, especially in this Deep Recession?
It is impossible! We are about to loss our jobs, thousands and millions of dollars disappear from Stock Market! Negative growth in Super Fund, Property prices crash, etc ....
Grace, you must be joking, come on, stop dreaming and hallucinating, get back to reality!!!"

hhm... something to think about

Why do we want to focus on lack of money, lack of abundance? Isn't the money and resources are more than enough for everyone in this world???

I totally understand, especially nowsadays, every single minute, there are more and more negative news coming out from TV and medias, BUT, let me ask you a question: "Are you the one who in charge of your life? Or do you allow others to responsible and master your life?"

"Do you have a choice to choose whether you want to be happy now or just sad and frustrated at all times?"

Give youself a chance to honour you feeling, listen to your inner voice within you. Do you really in charge of your life now, or you just let others influence and master your emotion, live in fear and frustraction, live in lack of abundance???

Folks, for those never think about this before, now is the time for you to think about your life. Now is the time for you to take charge of your own life! Focus on TOTAL ABUNDANCE!

Please grant yourself a chance to put this Gratitude Exercise into practice. Come one, think about this, it is not going to cost you even one cent to do this exercise, just do this Exercise continuously for 30 days, you will be amaze with the positive effects

You will not loss anything, BUT, if you make it, you will BENEFIT from it forever, for the rest of your life!!!

So, why not just give yourself a chance to allow Law of Attraction work perfectly well in your life? Why not give yourself a chance to experience total abundance attract to you effortlessly?

Be GRATEFUL for everything that you have eventhough it is so so so small in your eyes. Your little blessing could be a huge blessing for someone else. So, let's have Attitude of Gratitude at all times

Life is far too short for us to live undervalue, why not Dream Big, Think Big and Take Massive Action to create all the miracles you want in life?

5 Things that I am grateful for today:

1 - I woke up this morning.
2 - My family.
3 - That all my needs are met.
4 - The fact that I was able to get a least 3 articles done.
5 - The ability to dream and be ambitious.

5 Things that I am grateful for in the future:

1 - Going from living in an apartment to a house.
2 - The ability to bring in a steady income, before my current well runs dry.
3 - Becoming debt free.
4 - Building a business empire.
5 - My son's 18th birthday. So he can start to support himself.

Being gratitude absorbs a postive enery and i truly believe that. Being happy that you woke up everyday is a simple way of being gratitude. You don't have to receice extravagant things to be grateful. Simple things of our everyday life has a huge list of reasons why we should be grateful.
