I eat a light lunch and try to walk briskly for 20-30 minutes before starting my afternoon tasks...it usually does the trick.

I have a special quiet room in my office with a reclining chair purely for meditation and rest. I feel the best way to feel refreshed is to go in and listen to one of my meditation audios for 30 minutes.... Get some Alpha brainwave creativity ready for a refreshed afternoon!!! M |

| Depends on the person. Remember, it's all about getting your energy back up. For some, taking a short rest, either mentally or physically is enough to recharge their batteries to the point that they can make it through the rest of the day. A mind that is properly disciplined should have no problem switching gears between pleasurable and necessary activity. |

I usually crank up some house / techno music, something with alot of BPM. While listening i will have a cup of coffee if its in the morning or if its afternoon a Berocca tablet. Exercise helps aswell, skipping or even just some dumbell curls. Though i have limited resources at my J.O.B. |

I make sure I eat lunch- not eating can cause a real energy slump. I'll often take a walk outside too, just for 20 minutes or so to get a blast of fresh air and refresh myself for the afternoon.

Excercise in the morning, don't eat something that has a lot of sugar because you will get a spike in your sugar levels and then a crash...naps are great, several other cultures tie in naps at the workplace and have noticed an increase in productivity...break up your routine to stimulate your mind and body

I use a brain entrainment recording (binaural beats) that I made myself which re-sets the brain and overcomes fatigue and creates a sense of refreshment this will form part of a product release I am doing and is available for Warriors who want to try it out. Just send me a PM and an e-mail address so I can share the files with you. A little feedback would be helpful if you would be so kind |

Matcha Green tea works well for me. It contains a chemical that counteracts the jitters that caffeine can cause. It gives a feeling of zest and Zen. Very refreshing! Aromatherapy oils such as lemon, basil and peppermint are stimulating and make you more alert. Plus make time to exercise every day, drink plenty of water and eat a healthy diet 80% of the time. These all help to get rid of those afternoon slumps. |

I usually go for a 30 minute to hour power nap during the day. I'm more calm, collected and focused during the day when I do that.

I use a hypnosis nap program that uses time distortion methods to make a 10 minute siesta feel a lot longer. Follow that with a coffee and it's like starting the day again.

Just logging on to this section to find inspiration will recharge anyone. Working hard and long hours will drain anyone every now and then. However, taking a step back from the computer for an hour to catch some fresh air, nap, grab a healthy meal for energy, and relaxing your mind by reading the successes and motivation of others will do the trick.

I find that taking a power nap, however short, works wonders! It can be as short as 10-15 minutes, but ideally 30 mins or so. Our brain is like a computer imo, when it gets really slow, usually a reset will do the trick!

Go speedbird!! Same! Developing the ability to power nap (if you haven't got it already ) is awesome. I learned when I was an acupuncture student and I remember the book it was in and the date (near enough). It was 1980, and the book was: "The Lazy Man's Way To Riches". (It's famous for having one of the most successful on-page adverts of all time.) It wasn't actually a get rich quick book as it sounds, it was half about positive thinking, and half about starting a mail order business. Anyway, I am pretty sure that was the book that taught me about power napping. Now, if I feel tired (and if it happens it will be mid afternoon) I close my eyes, and invariably I wake up around 10 minutes after I get to sleep. And the tiredness - again, invariably - has lifted. Excellent. The other thing is: get exercise. Go for a walk, or just jump up and down a bit. Oh, by the way, 3 years later I had a mail order business selling herbs. That biz now turns over $500,000. So something works - thanks, author Joe Karbo. :-) |

Find that drinking too much coffee has a dehydrating effect which requires drinking lots of water to balance it all out. Tea is great for me thus far. Would like to be able to get down to power napping but it's certainly a rusty skill on my end. Never quite believed in power napping until a buddy of mind demoed.. Gotta be osmosis or something coz soon after could do power naps of 15mins and feel great ! Thanks for reminding me on this !

![]() I've never tried power napping. I guess I feel it would take me too long to fall asleep and too long to wake up and I'd just waste 3 hours in the middle of the day. But it sounds like it's worth a try. Thanks for the tip! | |

I normally get up around 7:15AM, if i sleep to 7:30 AM I feel as if I've had a few more hours, so that helps me to get up, during midday I just take a break from the computer and talk to someone in an active discussion to get the brain going... works for me |

Coffee, chill music. Power nap is effective, but not for everyone. For me it is at times, but not really because it makes me lose my momentum. Taking mini breaks to talk a little or to stretch and rest my eyes from the computer. |

I've just started on the green drinks.. Kale, cucumber, cellery, ginger and a pear (Joe Rogan style lol) and... honestly, it took me 3 days to choke down the first one LOL.. but I expect to feel great after a few more of these things.

I make sure I eat a number of smaller meals a day. I also drink plenty of water. So my energy levels are generally pretty good. Midday energy is generally maintained by changing tasks and/or getting out and about and either going to the gym or going for a walk. Another key strategy for me is to allot 'x' time to do a certain task/s if i'm feeling a little tired or uninspired (fortunately that isn't often) So I might deliberately do more tasks in a smaller time frame to get me moving mentally. The key for me is to have various alternatives and strategies to use to mix it up. |
