Hi there! I read on an old page the discussion about advantages and disadvantages of the different entrainment programs. Some of the people are using different programs at the same time - does it work without problems, though the programs are different (PerfectMeditation says, they are using the deep carrier frequencies from the beginning)? I´m thinking about using PerfectMeditation und Holosync perhaps in an dayly alternate way - PerfectMeditation appears stronger to me but the Holosync-offer with the recorded affirmations sounds really interesting. What are your experiences or advices? (Excuse my bad english...) |

Holosync all the way. I've used it for 8 months now and the results are amazing. I no longer get stressed out, I'm more assertive and happier inside. It does take some effort not to fall asleep (which they say is fine) but if you stick to it you wil see a difference. Just remember it is a marathon, not a sprint, do not expect results overnight and you WILL most likely experience some emotional upheaval in your first few weeks. their support for this is top notch. It is the best program for self-improvement period.

I've only use paraliminals, and that's all I needed. In fact, I only needed one paraliminal program and I only had to listen to it about 10-15 times before it had a dramatic effect on my productivity and my confidence. My advice is just to pick one and go with it. See what happens. You aren't going to know until you try. |

Wow. You might get as many replies as there are people who bother to write. I have done both - and both for short periods so I'm not representing myself as a self-contained control group. Centerpoint pissed me off so badly with their bad karma Bill Harris advertising that after 5 months I sent my CDs back and demanded they return my money back - which funds they did return. 8 years later, wary, I started Perfect Meditation. Now this has been a much different, much better experience. I am working with Michael, the owner I think, to have a custom mask-sound version made for my use that uses Nichiren Buddhism O'daimoku chanting with the singing bowls and Gyoto monks instead of his other options that do not fit with my non-binaurial practice 1. Tibetan (Om Mani Padme Humm) masking sounds, 2. The Dali Lama reciting the Heart Sutra and 3. the typical white noise rain - wave nature sounds. Right now, until the O'daimoku disks are finished, I'm having to use the Om Mani Padme Humm ones which is disconcerting since immediately after listening I go and do my Nichiren gongyo practice. Anyway, if you have no interest in those (really irrelevant details since none of the sounds affect the frequency they are just masks) just pick whichever one. His standard is the Om Mani Padme Om. Just ask for nature sounds if you think that's what you want but I bet it is NOT what you want because that's what I got from CentrePointe and they are as boring as hell. I never noticed any benefits from Holosynch. Perhaps I was just not ready then. With Perfect Meditation, though I have a huge benefit already: I used to sleep between 12 and 18 hours/day (! half a day at work then back to sleep in bed!). Now I listen to my Perfect Meditation CD an hour in the morning and I sleep soundly as I always did but now I only sleep six or seven hours. I have freed up so much time in my life to get things done! I wish this had happened to me three decades ago. I suggest you just try Perfect Meditation by buying the 2CD level one on eBay. You can usually get it for just $35.00 plus postage. So now you have a pro-Holosync, a pro-Paraliminals (which I have used to good result if they are the same Paraliminals I once used that are based on NLP to resolve specific problems - but then if those are they, they are not the ones I obtained benefits from years ago) and this Perfect Meditation recommendation. I've used all three, I think. Holosync I found a waste of time and money. Paraliminals I found useful for generating new behavior patterns, Perfect Meditation I find is the best answer as an "electronic meditation system." And of course. I do meditate in Real Life, traditional practice. HTH IMO YMMV |

PS Perfect Meditation feels stronger to me. Do not take two systems and alternate them one day this/next day the other. Pick one and stick with it. Subliminals are a crock of s***. You gain nothing from them. Nothing.

I agree that subliminals are a farce. Even if they worked, they're "programs" and every program is a limitation - one of your goals with meditation should be to FREE yourself of programs. Using a lower carrier wave to start is STUPID - it pushes the brain too far too fast. If you've been sitting on your butt in a chair for 8 years, you don't start of bench pressing 400lbs the first time out. It will crush you and starting off with lower carrier waves will do the same, resulting in high anxiety for most (and/or headaches). That's not a claim to make as a better program - there's a reason for having levels and anyone starting people off with lower carrier waves does not know what they're doing. |

Holosync uses Binaural Beats, which is an older technology... Isochronic Tones are much more effective, and can even often be used without headphones. I researched a free report about it if you're interested: Harmonic Healing Brainwave Entrainment cheers Heather |

I respectfully disagree that Isochronic tones are more effective. Headphones are cumbersome, but I get a lot more out of binaural beats. |

I have used Holosync but I kept falling asleep. I also had some doubts about the program so I didn't do as well for me. The purpose is visualize but it becomes difficult as the music puts you to sleep lol. You can go to the main website and order the demo. That way you can see if it help you or not before spending 5 to 6 hundred dollars on it.

Holosync hasn't done much for me. I'm going to look more into paraliminals and isochronic tones.

You can get a free beginners meditation course here: Project Meditation - Free meditation for everyone It's a mantra course which is one of the easiest ways to learn traditional meditation. Many people pay thousands of dollars just to learn a technique similar to this. You can also get a free sample of LifeFlow meditation which is a meditation entrainment product: LifeFlow® Meditation Technology - Project Meditation Hope that helps! |

I posted the following on another thread. Can anyone comment on this: I purchased some brain sync cd's a few weeks ago. It seems like this is a reputable company and its founder, Kelly Howell, has a pretty good biography. I listened to these 2 CDs for 2 weeks, alternating every other night. They were great, but now after 2 weeks I am experiencing extreme "upheaval" as the Holosync company would describe it. I think that this has to do with these 2 CD's being deep theta wave soundtracks. Anyway, I'm semi-freaking out. The symptoms appear to be alleviating somewhat, but nonetheless I'm done with this technology. All change must come from ourselves; nothing from the outside is ever permanenet, be it drugs, other people's opinions, or binaural beat technology. Has anyone else had similar experiences? |

Hi folks, I am a current Holosync user (about 14 months) but I also use my TM mantra at the same time (took TM along time ago). I can't say I have had overwhelming results but I don't judge the experience. I just set time aside to do it which frees me from all the "chatter" out there and I feel very refreshed, less anxious and peaceful for quite some time after each session. I am not convinced the subliminals in Holosync work but I do find the binaural beat system has enough results that I keep using it. Cheers |

I've been wanting to try these, but since I'm almost totally deaf in my left ear, not sure if it would work for me. Lambert |

I use Holothink; the Deep Zen and Laser Focus Optimizer. The Laser focus, even the 10 minute demo makes me feel like I am 16 again! They deliver much more than they claim to! I would love to promote them..since I am so passionate. I am having problems with competition analysis..10-12 year old domains..etc. So, I really need to listed to the download and do some serious meditations for keyword phrases! Any ideas for me? Victoria P.S. This Deep Zen, for myself anyway, is just to relax..and the Optimizer offers energy and focus. For metaphysical reasons, I have found that using nothing outside of will power and the white noise form my air conditioner works much better. |

Thanks for that info, I think that I can hear some low frequencies in my left ear. It's hard to tell because I have tinitus in that ear as well.

Holosync has been fantastic for me! I have been using it for 18 months and I am currently doing Level 3 (there are 12 levels in total). It has helped me to overcome a lot of my fears and limitations. I am now much more centrered, relaxed and more confident. One of the major benefits is that it raises your tolerance threshold and you can cope with a lot more stress without getting overwhelmed. In the past 12 months I have been able to escape the rat race and have also achieved many of my goals. Holosync has definitely helped me to achieve this! You can request a free cd from the holosync website (or you can get one from my website!). I highly recommend it to everyone! Cheers, Brad |

hmm old thread but I was wondering if more people had experience with this? I've been trying holosync for about a few months off and on and I really enjoyed how calm I felt the first 2-3 days back when it was only 30 minutes (probably a placebo effect of simply doing meditation which I had not done in any way before). Anyway, 20 days into it and I feel like it's not doing much which makes me skip a few days here and there. Now I want to try lifeflow, I did it for the first time today and it really does seem to be way better for me... I just feel... really calm... I see that the lifeflow track is 1 hour so I guess it ends up being the same amount of time as holosync, anyone have suggestions/opinions that used either or both? |
