New to the forum and hoping this thread is okay to post here. I'm all about success and self-improvement and I want to offer the value I create to others for free.

My website is barely 2 months old and one way I'll be monetizing my traffic is by offering coaching. I want to hone my coaching skills and gather some testimonials from happy clients. I believe it is best to do that before I begin charging for my services.

Hey guys,

As a fellow coach, I have to say that Ender did some excellent work with me!

Yes, even a coach could gain tremendous value from another coach.

If you're feeling stuck and need clarity, it is very helpful to have a coach show you where your blind spots are and Ender did just that. I could have done it myself and I often have to, but with a coach it is tremendously easier to move forward.

Ender helped me gain clarity on what to do moving forward with my life (not just my business endeavors) and all he did was ask simple questions.

Believe it or not, such questions revealed my blind spots, and many of my solutions became so obvious to me just by becoming aware of them.

Since Ender's sessions are currently free, I HIGHLY recommend you take advantage of the opportunity that is right in front of you. If you have to swallow your pride, then do it!

Even merely getting a second opinion from someone who is supporting you will allow you to see perspectives that you may not be aware of, whereas the negative people who think you can't succeed online will only pull you down.

In other words, who you associate with will influence your finances. And there's no question that success-oriented people associate with other success-oriented people. Thus, associating with a coach like Ender will allow you to move you close towards your goals.

I have to be honest and say that the coaching sessions were not something I found worked for me, however there were some things I did find of value, of course for me to continue on I would have had to pay which at the time I couldnt afford.
I think its different for the individual, what works for some doesnt nessicarily mean it works for others, I assumed I could work with Ender and start making money right away, but there is allot of groundwork to take place, with Ender I felt it would have taken me a long time to get there, mabye too long but thats me.. I dont mean any disrespect to ender and i wish everybody the best of luck if they decide to work with him just have to be honest about how I went in the coaching sessions.

From what you have written there, it sounds like you went in thinking (probably hoping) that he had a magic wand/blueprint for making money right away. In truth this is EXACTLY the type of thinking that will prevent you from ever making money and I imagine something Ender either picked up on when working with you, or inevitably would have done had you decided to continue.

In truth (and I am just going by what you have written here) this is exactly the mentality that will keep a handful of IM 'gurus' pockets full of money; the thinking that if you are given a golden nugget of a step by step process for making money you'll get money right away, so people buy and realise, sh#t i've actually got to do some work here..

so let me ask you a question?

What have you done in your life that you are proud of and consider to be meaningful that did not require you to do some work to get it?

It sounded like Ender did exactly what a coach should do; help you map out the groundwork and then if you decided to carry on, facilitate you in doing stuff to get you to where you want to be, whilst making you aware of mental blindspots that you will (because everyone does) encounter along the way.

Being told what to do and telling you to follow something because someone made money from it at some point is not coaching and if you read any research and have experienced what happens when you tell someone to do something, will know that is normally the worst way of someone being successful. People are more likely to do something if the ideas come from THEM not someone else.

Italad, if you want money now sell your body or look under your cushions - otherwise be prepared to spend time doing something meaningful and eventually the money will come.
