Well, that's affirmation I think. Everyday, always motivate yourself in any positive way. It will trigger your subconscious mind to act and you will be amazed by it. That's one of the best thing that god have given us.

You are right sir, the affirmations have my mind set in the right direction. It makes me take responsibilty on what i want in life and give me the confidence to pursue it!

Remove the words "will" and "always" and then read it again. Does it feel any different?

That's good advice. I'd also suggest using the words "I AM" whenever you can.

"I am a man of unlimited potential and abundance"

If that feels good when you repeat it to yourself, you're on to bigger and better things. If your first thought about it is something better, then use that.

Namaste,

Grant

Nice catch War...

Supposedly using negatives like "not" (in the OP post) is not the best way to do affirmations.

And by taking out "will" and "always" as you suggest makes the affirmations shorter, which is better.

thats good and to expand on that, I read a technique where you say

"I AM (insert person with desired trait here)"

to use this as an example:

If you want to be more confident.. you take someone you know personally (or not) that you like, that has confidence and you say:

"I am (insert person here with confidence)".

I find this works best for me when i take someone i personally know with the desired effect/trait I want.

There is a process for this, but works for me if i want to switch attitudes.

This is like the "Act as If" technique and I prefer to use this with a one word association/anchor.

I find these techniques work better than affirmations, but always listen to my sleep programing affirmations at night !

Just one more method to add to your attitude enhancing aresenal

That's a nice one..... You won't get anywhere in life sitting around watching opportunities go by. You won't get anywhere telling yourself you will do something, but never do it.

When you see something that has potential. ATTACK IT!

Great affirmations there! I agree with the points made about removing "will" and "always". Somehow makes it more punchy and to the point.

What are some ways these have served you since you created them, Kiackee?

Yeah, affirmations are a good idea. I do them myself sometimes. Mr. Robbins taught me so.
