Default Dealing with your frustration

Hello, it's the new guy again.

My new "flagship product" isn't selling as much as I want it to and sometimes it drives me insane. I know, I know - it is just how it goes in the sales world, but it honestly bugs the hell out of me. I have a product that has received nothing but praise, but still I find many of target market customers bouncing from my website. Perhaps I could blame Google Analytics for giving me too much information. If wasn't able to track my potential customers in such detail and could live in the bliss of ignorance. "Times are tough in this economy"

So I ask the vendors out there, how far do you go before you abandon or scale back your advertising campaigns and let your product die?

It is a bit ironic that my frustration only serves as fuel to keep pushing my product, but I don't want to get the point where it drags me down financially or mentally.

I'm having the same problem with my online store.I followed the plan to the best of my ability (at least I think I did). I'm doing article marketing, social network, blog-forum all that stuff. I've read several things here and I've even done them to create backlinks.I'm not ready to give up by any means but I feel like my learning curve is getting steeper.

Frustration? Every distraction that keeps me from focus, confidence, commitment, or persistence provokes frustration.

Not worth the energy to talk about frustration; much wiser to find your source of energy, your purpose, your goals, and then work to make "it happen".

Maureen Dowd interviewed Tina Fey (SNL/Palin) (Vanity Fair, January 2009). Dowd quotes Steve Higgins (a SNL producer) who describes Fey's commitment. In part, he says her ethic is "superhuman...It's just sheer force of will."

That incentive, commitment, and determination thwarts frustration.

Sheer force of will! I like that. Sometimes when everything is falling apart and there's no one or nowhere to turn to, all we'll have left is ourselves...I guess sheer force of will is what we can use to make it through...even minor frustrations...:-)

Hi Sir,

There are many things you can do to deal with your frustration. Firstly just take a step back and relax. That way you can more accurately pin point what is wrong with your new business venture.

I agree with what nicholasb said. You should check step by step which phase of your system is going wrong. The traffic, Quality of traffic, Conversion rate etc. Because if your product is good, there is no reason nobody wants to get it! =)

Just my opinion!
