Hi! I'm new to the forum, and thanks to all of you and your great posts here! Just wanted to share a tool that in the last month has really increased my business! I've been hearing for many years the power of intention and how important it is to set clear intentions for yourself, whether in your personal life, or professional life. It's something that I've played with, but not been diligent with. I recently heard Jack Canfield say in one of his recordings that we need to write down, read and visualize our intentions straight for 30 days to really start to see a positive effect. I thought I would put that to the test. I came across Joe Vitale's 'Intention Creator', which is a little program you can install on your computer at no cost. I wrote down all my intentions and programmed it so they pop up every 2 hours. I take a few minutes out of what I'm doing at that time and read and visualize each of them. Regardless of how I'm feeling at that particular moment, doing this always makes me smile. It is absolutely amazing at how I'm seeing things manifest, and not in a 'hit you over the head' here is your intention kind of way. They just kind of snuck up on me - from making new friends, working out easily, feeling more joy and a huge jump in the number of people who have joined me in my business. Try it for yourself - I'd love to hear your experiences with it. |

Sounds like a good plan. There is one tip that I would like to share. It seems very basic and you may already know this and be using this but I found I was much more disciplined if I focussed on the positive and enjoyable aspects of the experience. I had a real struggle to do meditation for an hour daily. I used to thiink of it as difficult and focus on the difficult aspects of it. Now I keep thinking about the experiences of peace that I sometimes have when I am meditating. This has got me meditating regularly now for the past two weeks and I no longer look at it as a trial or a chore. Hope this helps. regards Nikhil |

It’s time to change the way we think and speak about our dreams. Transforming a conversation, just like manifesting a dream, begins by setting an intention. Your intentions will assist you in taking greater control of your life. A working definition for intention is: “to have in mind a purpose or plan, to direct the mind, to aim.” People set intentions on all kinds of dreams. When you set an intention and then act on it to demonstrate your commitment, amazing things occur. Intention can also give us fortitude for dealing with tough times. It's my idea. What is your thought about this? |

Just do a search for Joe Vitale's Intention Creator, and it'll come up. I totally agree with robertstr, "Intention can also give us fortitude for dealing with tough times." as it keeps the focus on what we want to have in our life instead of what's not working. We're looking ahead. The action is key, but I'm finding that the action is naturally coming as I focus on my intentions every day. Everything is unfolding beautifully! |

I think little 'gems' like this help to keep us focussed. It is all too easy to lose direction and waste time on unimportant things. Great help, thanks. Ian |
