Ahhh I can't choose. Between Tony, Bob, Les Brown and Jim Rohn, you have a very special group of speakers. I prefer Les Brown and Jim Rohn out of them I think.

I've studied both of their work extensively. I would say Bob Proctor gave me a better understanding of my mind, how it works, mental faculties, etc... But if I had to pick I would say Tony Robbins' work gave me more practical strategies that I was able to apply VERY quickly and get almost immediate benefit from. But my answer is... BOTH |

Definitely both. And, no reason to stick to just one. Jim Rohn and Les Brown (as mentioned) are also up there, and I really like Zig Ziglar as well. |

Bob Proctor seems to have a more long term approach to things by changing smaller things daily that amount to big overall change. Tony feels more into drastic action now and big picture thinking to change your entire mindset. I like a mix of their styles so I enjoy both. |

Both, I've listened to both of them and they have two different approaches to getting results so I would just use both. At the moment I am listening to Tony and applying what he says. At the same time I am repeating Bob's best money affirmation at least a dozen times a day ![]() - Isaiah Jackson |

I would agree with Both. But what from what you learn are you going to APPLY consistently over time and who are you going to mix with that is going to help....

Tony Robbins book 'unlimited power' is actually very actionable (unlike many books of the kind). However I would avoid the dietary advice. The deep breathing advice is good though. |

I've just read tony's awaken the giant within and find it to be an extremely phenomenon. Full of practise, lesson and guide. One of the best book I've ever purchased. Have not try out Bob though, but I believe he will be just as good. Take advise from both mentors.. Combine what you've learn and never stop upgrading/learning. Don't limit yourself, Jeremiah. |

I'm a fan of Tony Robbins, though I agree some of his dietary advice is questionable. I forgive him for that because a lot of other things he offers have served me well over the years. I actually have never heard of Bob Proctor! :/ Should I have? lol...

Bob Proctor is too cheesy in The Secret so Tony Robbins gets my vote. Eckhart Tolle is high up on my list of man love too. |

I love Jim Rohn because he is more into the network marketing arena. Tony Robbins is great because he teaches you strategies on how to succeed in life. Les Brown is also an amazing speaker but I will always be the most grateful to Tony Robbins because he was the first person that I listened to when I first got started and looked for a mentor in the self help field. |

However, Tony Robbins will hands down get my vote! I first read "Awaken the Giant Within" in my early 20's - it changed my life and even though I never met the man or even attended a live event - I will be forever grateful! "When the student is ready the teacher will appear" and that teacher will look and sound however they need to get through to you. ![]() And to the guy that said they are all con-artists selling re-hashed stuff. I will take all the re-hashed Tony Robbins and Bob Proctor positive life changing stuff to any of the negative, oppressive garbage being peddled by negative nellies and miserable mikes'. However, I've learned that really negative people like it in their miserable little world and to try to pull them out is akin to polishing a turd - a waste of time. | |

Hi, For me, Tony Robbins strikes a chord . I feel a kinship to what he presents. Truthfully, I think the best thing you can do is listen to each of them and just go ahead and make a choice. Then really get into what they are presenting. You really can't go wrong. Listen to your intuition. It'll always lead in the right direction. All the best, Dr. Mike |

Tony (or Robbo as we like to call him down here) pushed me off the cliff and taught me how to fly. Bob showed me where to land. There should be no confusion though, why are you confused? Absorb both of them plus everyone else that's been mentioned in this thread and then keep consuming that positive energy. You will become like the people you hang around. Spend at least a few hours each day with one of these guys and you're life will be better in every way. |

I have seen both of them live and both totally change the way i think and the course of my future and the way i approach it. Bob Proctor - Although he doesnt have the energy, loudness, and hype as Tony, is message is mind bending. When he is delivering his message it truely makes you think hard about what he is saying. This makes it so you are fuly engaged and places it in your mind so you dont forget it. I think Bob Proctor has truely mastered to change peoples thought process and makes your point of view on the world do a 180. Tony Robbins- His energy alone will get anyone moving and change the way they take on new tasks and the way they look at their future. If you are looking for some goal setting or habit breaking Tony is the individual that can help you do it. He is all about overcoming and becoming. I think neither of the two are better than the other. To me they both have completely different messages and they would agree. Tony is more about goals, overcomin habits, and becoming who you want to become. I think Bobs message is more about our thought patterns and how we can change them. They both are awesome! |

I started in London w Tony's UPW and have studied under many masters in these areas for some time. I like many of them but since I started w Tony and his energy is off the chart - he is my top choice.

I have only read Tony Robbins and his stuff is very motivating. It seems as though Bob Proctor relies on the Science of Getting Rich as the basis of much of his stuff and I have a hard time paying for something that is available for free. By the way, I think the SOGR is one of the best if not the best motivational books ever written.

This is a hard one to decide on. They are both great and have great ideas of thinking. However if I was forced to choose which one was better, I may have to pick Tony. I think that he is just a bit better in my eyes for his lines of thinking than Bob. But Bob rates pretty high as well for me.

Fun to read these posts. I've been following Tony since 1984 and I find the he just keeps getting better and better. Some said, "Practical" and that's true. Bob, is somewhat ethereal and conceptual. I find him compelling, but less useful.

I haven't listen to much Tony Robbins so my answer is a little bias... But to me, Bob Proctor is just so motivating. I've listened to his audiobook "it's not about the money" at least 50 times over! Great product!

I would like to say I like them both, and would not prefer one over the other. They both focus on different facets of the mind and body, and I like learning from both of them. They give me different perspectives and varied takes on things which I applied to my life as appropriate. It would be tough to choose between them, so I'd say both.

Tony is awesome for taking action NOW. He has been very helpful to get me out of my head/feelings and to just go for it, no matter how small the step. Once I am in motion alot often changes quickly. But I agree with the others - BOTH. |
