Default The Enemy Who Blocked My Success

On the road to freedom there was pain… there was failure.
There were people who tried to steal my dream.
There were people who criticized, judged and told me i was making a mistake.

This video tells it all…

Hi Justin,

Often we love to blame people around us, and forget that we create our own blockades in our MIND.

The battleground is the mind and winning this battle requires a big leap from victim mentality to one that believes “Yes I can do it!”

Thanks for sharing this video, Justin. There are many people out there who will pull us down but in the end the one person who can make success a reality is ourselves regardless if the others never believed in us.

Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful.

Simply beautifully put. Needless to say this resonated very strongly with me. And it's so true.

Anyone striving for a better future, anyone who wants to live and I mean truly wants to live, someone who wants to follow their dream, their ambition, their passion, you know the path to adopting this way of thinking has in all likelihood not been particularly easy for them.

If it's not the 'voices' in your own mind telling you constantly it can't be done, it's other people trying to put you down. And it takes a real conscious effort to stay on top of all this noise knowing whatever you set your mind too, despite all the odds stacked against you - you can still pull this off.

Too often people listen and take notice of the little nagging voice in their mind which says, "Who do you think you are? Who do you think you are wanting to achieve greatness? Stop thinking about wanting to change yourself. Be happy with who you are right now.

To which I tell such doubts, nagging thoughts and feelings - "Get lost!"

I have a zero tolerance policy for myself or for other people who try to bring you down to their level of negative claptrap.

Tell me something can't be done and instantly my mind switches into high gear / full alert to remove those obstacles, those rocks and hurdles from my thinking.

I tell myself to look for the reasons why something can be achieved and then look for ways to make it happen.

In my life, I've had to overcome great adversity. On-going every day it can be a struggle. But I keep an ever constant eye on the end goal. I know the pay-off on achieving my goal and ambition will be well worth it.

The price, I'm prepared to pay in advance. I'm prepared to burn my bridges behind me. I'm prepared to take the difficult decisions through choice to tell myself it can be done despite seemingly insurmountable odds.

Yet all the time, nagging doubts can assail us from every direction. My advice, as I've stated before many times?...

You can only live in the moment and right now in this moment you have a choice of which emotion to experience.

If you latch onto the negative emotion, it will take great pleasure in robbing you of your identity. It will take great pleasure in robbing you of your dreams and aspirations. Feed it with attention and it will serve it's purpose devastatingly well.

Question is...

Will you feel any better for listening and/or taking notice of this negative energy within your own mind?

In the moment, having this choice of emotion to experience life to the full, a nagging doubt creeps it's way into your mind. Tell it to, pardon my language to "F off!"

Choose to replace it instantly in a split second with it's counterpart, a positive emotion which the negative fears most.

If you consciously put in the effort to feed your mind with positive mind food, sooner or later, the nagging doubts and feelings will dissipate before disappearing altogether to be replaced with a much more energetic and positive you.

It takes constant effort to put this into practice but it can be done and most simply too.

Simply choose to think positively. Both negative and positive thoughts are simply that, just thoughts. They're not tangible physical objects, they exist in your mind only. Each has no greater power over the other unless you say otherwise to yourself.

Some might say to think positively is too much like hard work. Well, let me tell you or in fact ask you a question before telling you...

Is feeding your mind with negativity any more satisfying? Truly? Be honest with yourself in answering this question.

Is feeding your mind with your own inner bull crap serving your very own personal interests?

If not, you might as well put up with the same amount of 'aggravation' and start thinking more positively instead.

You can release yourself from bondage. Negative thoughts, nagging feelings are simply metaphorical self imposed rocks you've put in your own path to hinder yourself from becoming truly who you want to be.

Cast them aside and start striving ever onwards with a completely clear vision of your path ahead and who knows?...

You might just achieve happiness.

Smoking hot,

Exactly we blame others, environment, Luck etc... Instead of rectifying or correcting our self.

It's not the hours you put in your work that counts, it's the work you put in the hours.

Hey man thanks so much for the feedback! glad you like it

I honestly don't remember where I got that mp3 from. I have a folder of royalty free stuff I got years ago and it was in there.

But you can google "royalty free instrumental music" and get some good stuff

A lot of times we use blame to cover a bigger emotion within ourselves: Fear. Fear is what keeps us listening to the doubt in our head. And we don't want to admit we are afraid. Afraid of failure. Afraid of ridicule.
Successful people learn to speak to fear and vaporize it.

You said it!

Fear of ridicule, judgment, etc... is the one I see cropping up a LOT. I've certainly worried about that stuff but over time, I have worn down those fears by constantly putting myself out there. After a while you kind of just stop worrying about it

Perfect! This is a great video worthy to share. I guess it could serve as a very timely reminder to all of us:

It's easy to blame, it's easy to lie, it's easy to escape. I used to blame a lot in the past, I escaped from reality and lied just to cover my own ass. It's easy to do all those.. Unsurprisingly, I fail to grow and learn from my mistake.

Today, I learn to take charge of my life, be in control of my emotion and thinking, and ultimately take responsible for my own life. I don't blame it on my parents, the ecology, or the environment. Ironically, I realize that I control my own destiny.
