Hi Guys

Have you ever heard of the term askhole !?

An askhole is someone who asks your advice and then does exactly the opposite.

Raise your hand who knows one or ten

I come across this a lot people asking you advice on how to setup a business, which mindset they should have and so on. Than a week later they come back and do exactly opposite.

Sometimes they do this because they are so stuck in their ways and can't get out their negative circle of habits. Others do the exactly the opposite just because they think know better or they do the opposite, just like children do just to be cross !

If you come across this type of person you can use this askhole sign

I have known many of these creatures and I have been one, also. Sometimes people ask for advice with no intention of really listening it to it. I've found that often people really don't want advice, they just want to vent or complain.

I never heard of that word before. It actually sounds like something else which I am not going to say here because don't want anyone to be offended.

Too many people online listen to a guru's advice but think that they know everything and do the opposite. That's why they fail. It's time they put their EGO on the side.

      Guys,

I cannot take credit for making up the word Askhole. I don't know who invented it, but someone out there did.

Askhat is a nice one too. Somewhat friendlier, a word you can say to your family, askhole for a student or really good friend ;-)

I think we have ALL been an "ASKHOLE" at some point.

We hear a cool strategy we should implement but watch others do it instead.

It is those people who are open to new ideas that separates the ASKHOLES from the TASKHOLES.

They see a task and they get it done.

No Ifs, Ands, or BUTTS. (Sorry, I couldn't resist )

I can see your frustrations... honestly, I can. But I have to say Chris, the term "askhole" sounds a little harsh.

The thing we have to understand is that we've all been where the askholes have been. We've all asked questions in the past - maybe from friends, family, mentors, received some sincere, genuinely helpful advice, and did the complete opposite of what was recommended.

It's up to us to carve our own path. But we still need guidance. That's why we ask questions. But it's ultimately our decision on what we do with the information given. A lot of times, especially early on, we make some very poor choices. It's all a part of the growing process.

If we're to take your definition to heart, then by all means, consider me an "askhole". I'll always ask questions, but I can't sit here and guarantee anyone that I'll follow their advice, nor will I ask the same from someone I give said information to. I'm there to give guidance, it's up to them to do what they want with it.

Don't give up on your askholes. They're trying. At least they're asking questions. If they stick with this whole marketing thing, they'll eventually find their way. And they'll start following the advice given more often than not.

The goal should be to try and help as many people as we can. No matter if they sometimes drift astray. Once they get it, and you're still answering their questions to the best of your ability, your askholes will love you for life.

It's because of them, that some of us make a living doing what we're doing.

I think it's in the wikipedia already, lol.

An askhole is something a question mark tattoed in somebody's butt which is directly connected to the brain but is non-functional.

The only thing that separates an askhole from a succesful person is that a succesful person gave up being an askhole and started listening to people who know what they are talking about in any field.

We have all been an askhole at one point, but I think the following is true also.

The term in itself is 'Negative" and although I understand what your saying, our minds have "no room" for any negative thoughts or phrases as they will root like a wild weed in a field.

If people ask for Free Advice, then that is exactly what they get and what they do with it is up to them.

If I "charge" for my services, like a Coach, then I am able to Set the Rules on how we will go about it. Such as, you will adhere to my suggestions, read what I say, and complete assignments and so on.

Guard Your Mind Well................it is your "Future".................

I agree with you partly ! Did you study Neurolinguistic programming or something along that line ? I studied hypnosis, NLP, Brainwave entrainment etc. so what you say rings a bell, eh well more than that.

Researchers estimate people have 60.000 thoughts a day of which 60% to 80% are negative thoughts. Like I can't do it, it won't work, I am not worth it, I am not smart enough and so on.

The key is to monitor your negative thoughts and reprogram yourself by thinking the exact opposite thought. For example if you think it is difficult to make a lot of money, you tell yourself the opposite 15 times or more. It's easy to make a lot of money. Do this often enough and you will form new positive neural pathways in your brain. In psychology classes they call this Neuroplasticity !

As far as theword askhole goes, for me it's more meant as humorous term !
