Default who?...me worry?

What are you worried about right now as an internet marketer?

I’m successful, work 16+ hrs a day. Then 9/11 hits – I was away from home, too far away from home...

I am worried that poor marketing tactics of a few (I am talking the low of the low) will drive the perception of the rest of us as a group of "snake oil peddling hucksters".

At least this is what I see through dubious marketing of Any Kind of "Berry" and Gov. Money that doesn't exist. The consumer can get all of this for $3.95, only to be billed $103.95 the next month.

I could see a day when we all wake up to find out the US government has dubbed the "internet" as a scam.

I personally think as an affiliate you really have to watch the products you promote, and make sure to not let greed take over.

There is something to be said about sleeping well at night.

It's interesting you mention this metafever. It reminds me that in a past list survey I was surprised to see how many people looking to find their way in this industry were concerned about being scammed.

I agree with you that there seems to be room for improvement in how this industry operates. May we each do the best we can to raise the bar, having the government be a "power over this industry" (as it is in some countries)...well, let's just not go there.

To be careful what you wish for.

Sometimes we want success so badly that we may not be truly prepared for it.

Time management, becoming the CEO of your own business, Balance of personal life, health, and financial managment become very important.

Also, security.

Not only website security but even the associates we work with have to be chosen wisely.

I try to avoid worry because it imples a degree of helplessness
and it's certainly not productive. But I have no problem with
being concerned about something.

Concern helps me to be pro-active, to focus and be objective
in finding a solution; whereas worry puts the situation beyond
my control, in which case worrying becomes pointless.
