I agree and I'm really trying to, but here I am on the Warrior Forum again ![]() Once I got past my younger kid phase of always going outside I grew to hate going outside. Now I think I'd rather be out there on an adventure instead of inside the house working on the computer all day. Sometimes you need a breath of fresh air. REAL fresh air |

Hell take 3 or 4 days off a week. You didn't choose to work for yourself to work all the time.

I walk outside every day and I love looking at the blue sky. ![]() It was depressing never seeing the sky working in a cubicle in my old 9-5... |

By leaving for more than 24hrs and then coming back to a project can give you so much insight. This lets your unconscious mind (or whatever they call it now) work out the project in the back ground while your conscious mind is focused on something else. |

Staying inside for a long time can lead to strongly decreased motivation and laziness in my case. I don't know how it works, but after spending an hour outside, under the sun, I'm motivated and my energy magically multiplies ![]() A few days of break is too long for me, I'm becoming lazy after such time of doing nothing, I can't quickly get back to my working mode. I would rather go on longer holidays once in a few months |

| That's what I thought to. Then I started planning my business for me to be able to leave so I could spend more time with family and friends before I earned well. I tried working long hours at the computer with no sleep and almost ruined my life. The sooner the time off is planned the better. You can totally take your mind of work, when you come back ideas to improve the projects you work on will come to you like magic |

I try and leave the house everyday, even if it is just to visit the local supermarket.

I try to go outside for a run everyday. It helps me feel good and clears my mind. Then when it is time to get back to work, I attack the project that I am working on.

All work no play keeps the Doctor earning money. I'm pretty sure you don't want to work hard just to earn money and then use that money you've earn for hospital bills and found yourself in big trouble because you've been sitting in front of computer the whole day, week, month or year. |

I love coming back to work after a good 3-4 days off. It's 8:27am on a Monday and I'm fresh and raring to go. ....and I did have a good few bottles of wine during my time off! |

It is really bad for you to work everyday of the week and not take some time off. Sure you want to get your business off the ground but it is always a good idea to have at least ONE single day off. I used to be the guy who took action every single day for a few years and now I take at least a day or two off each week from my online business activities. Once I get my business to a curtain income level and my team is growing really well, I might even take 3 days off and "work" 4. |

If you are the kind of person who really focuses on their tasks, enjoys what you are doing, and finds that time slips away on you, then it is very important to take regular breaks. Everyone else ... well, most people don't seem to have any trouble taking breaks. In fact, in my opinion, a lot of people take too many breaks! GT |

Read the Power Of Full Engagement by Jim Loehr and Tony Schwartz. It's the best book I've read around time off and time management. They wrote about managing energy which is more important but less known, and the use of stories mixed with action steps make it an easy yet informative read. |

| akif, Well if you look at it that way, you'll be forever chasing a ghost! If you spend 24hrs a day working your A** off it's counter-productive. It's important to unwine sometimes, re-group and get back to your work rejuvenated. It's like earning is one thing, but being able to stay "human" is important. Besides, what's the purpose of earning so much when you don't get to appreciate all your efforts. |

Your right. Although we have lot of works to do, we should take a rest, relax and restore energy. So that when we are back, we are in a good mood to work again.
