Of all the personal development stuff his is by far the best for me. I went to one of his live seminars, it was amazing. Ended up walking barefoot on hot coals without getting a single burn/blister. One of my buddies that attended with me had done the whole firewalk thing before elsewhere and wasn't "in state" and his feet blistered up... we walked the exact same line, crazy stuff.

I think Tony Robbins is the most brilliant, insightful and greatest communicator in the self help market.

To the guy who wants recommendations on where to start: I suggest buying "Awaken the Giant Within", or getting a cheap used cd set on ebay; not paying hundreds for cds, or thousands for a weekend seminar, unless you already have a very high income/net worth. The content in the book is worth thousands if you use it. I'd prefer to use my money to build my business, then take the seminar once the thousands are a pittance!

To the guy who said all self help gurus are alike: not true. Tony's stuff goes way deeper, goes into way more detail, and contains insights into psychology that go far beyond "here's how to set goals".

To the guy who equated psychology with religion: (I realize you were 1/2? kidding but...), which school of psychology is it that insists everyone believe in an invisible, all powerful man (who isn't a man really; call him "God"), that made the universe, is omnipresent, reads the thoughts of all people, and punishes those who don't believe in him with eternal torture, while rewarding those who do with eternal, perfect happiness? Is that the Freudians or the Jungians?

Tony is indeed the man! A masterful communicator and a true expert at getting the most out of people. I had the pleasure and good fortune of meeting him personally several years ago at his Fear Into Power - The Firewalk Experience event. It was one evening all never forget that changed me forever. His message is both powerful and effective and Tony is a giant of a man in more ways than one.

Yes, I absolutely agree as well. He's not only a great motivator (even though he doesn't like to use that term, ), but he's also a life changer. Read his books, watch his videos or attend his live events and I promise you this - your life will never be the same again! That's for sure!

I love Tony Robbins. He is great at getting people to take action. Also, love the idea of firewalking. I am actually going to be doing it in a few weeks pretty excited.

Side note: Tony just released a product with Frank Kern and John Reese. You might want to check it out if you haven't yet.

Tony Robbins is fantastic. An old boss and now friend of mine is one of Tony's personal friends. Though I've never met him personally...yet, I sure would love to. His methods are simple, yet inspiring.

One of my personal heros.

Awesome Video! Made me laugh.

You can get the Money Master Series with Frank Kern & John Reese & Russell Brunson & others... like me (if they haven't sold out)

Also check out Scott Hallman. He's a friend of Tony's and an awesome business coach - especially if your in the States - or even better Chicago.

awesome man

Anyone who believes in motivation will be stimulated by Anthony (Tony) Robbins (1960- ) I saw him perform at a convention 1988. His show and message was dynamic and exciting, a big man with boundless enthusiasm. I am 5'3" tall, & Robbins 6'7", so I am small and yet he made me feel big, like him. I soon bought some of his books and although I never grew an inch the messages they brought added to my confidence. My library contains:
• Unlimited Power: The New Science of Personal Achievement (1986)
• Awaken the Giant Within (1992)
• Giant Steps (1994)
I stopped with those three as the motivation message was essentially the same but Robbins left a lasting impression. His ability to promote himself has resulted in wealth and international acclaim.
Robbins stature seemed to be explained when doctors discovered what they thought was a tumor growing on his pituitary gland. It turned out to be an adenoma which produced pressure on the gland, which in turn was circulating very high levels of growth hormone. This was credited with causing his remarkable growth as a teenager. The adenoma is still there with no current issues.
Robbins began his career promoting seminars for motivator Jim Rohn and later taught neuro linguistic programming learned from NLP co-founder John Grinder. Robbins writes about subjects such as health and energy, overcoming fears, persuasive communication and enhancing relationships. He also became well known with his use of infomercials.
Another unique method Robbins uses is fire walking to overcome fear and limited belief, His skills and techniques in creating methods to effect personal change are revered by many people.
Robbins believes that a person has the responsibility to make the changes in their life and that conditioning is a more appropriate word than programming. He considers himself a peak performance coach rather that a motivational speaker with the goal of finding out what they do at their peak and to give people the skill to access that state as needed. He believes that his coaching is more lasting that temporary motivation.
Robbins has had his share of controversy but always lands on his feet. I follow his suggestions on most lifestyle matters, as diet and attitude.

inshort he is such man to follow

thanks,

Tony has shown what it means to be at the top in the empowerment business over the long haul.
I read him back in the 80's and it was obvious then he was around to stay.
He is a masterful marketer. He understands it is all about connecting with human beings and being a catalyst for massive action.

Thanks for posting this video, Craig!
Being a Tony fan, I had seen it before, but enjoyed watching it again.

Tony has that gift to inspire people to better their lives and accomplish their dreams; I was fortunate enough to work with him at an event, in front of 3000 people, as I was going through a painful divorce. That day changed my life around in so many ways, and I realized how genuine this guy is when he was following through with me, way after the event ended and anyone was seeing his contribution to help me.

Tony is amazing in so many ways, and all the trainers, and people in his team are like family! I have written a couple of books following the breakthroughs I had, working with him and mingling in the 'Tony Environment' over the years.

Tony has been working with Frank and Mike Koenigs of Traffic Geyser for quite some time. Frank, Mike and John Reese are all former students of Tony and went to his seminar years ago. It would appear that it has paid off for them extremely well. I'm not surprised as I know his work has dramatically changed my life in so many ways.
