Hey everyone, This is an odd topic, however, I believe that it works and it has worked for me over the last 4 years EVERYTIME that I use it. All you must do is take 15-30 minutes each day to meditate on traffic coming to your site from your target market. Your mind influences more than you think, if I get some replies to this thread I will include a tutorial on what to visualize and how-to visualize it. Have a fantastic day everyone! |

absolutely, you can't just think "im getting traffic / sales today" and expect it to work with no thought behind it. there is a setup process, then there is a follow-up. good on ya genie, it does work! |

I've used this technique for years. I extended it to visualize every area of my life and the change I would like to see happen. My health, my body, my relationships, my business and so on. It puts you in a place similar to meditation. In meditation you release your resistance to life(doubts, non belief, etc., the things that keep you from succeeding) you become calmer more centered in your belief and knowing of yourself which are aspects of success. So by visualizing you are in a state of non-resistance to what you want to achieve which helps to create more confidence and belief within that you can achieve this and that it can and will happen. Visualization is a very difficult to learn technique. I have an article that I wrote for a martial art website if anyone is interested in learning two techniques to enhance your mind for mediation. I don't want to post a link and try to push anything so PM me if your interested. Have a good night everyone! |

Visualization is very simple. We naturally visualize all of the time. As children we were always dreaming in our minds of magical and wonderful places and adventures. We visualize when we dream at night. We visualize when we let our mind wander to daydream. Some people can see very vividly with there mind's eye. Some do not, this is not a problem. Some visualize more with feeling the visual then actually seeing it. Which is the most effective part of the visualization anyway. You must really feel it to actualize it. It's just a matter of practice, sitting with your dream or goal for 15 minutes a day, don't worry if you can't get a good visual on it, just relax and really really feel into the essence of it. Visualization is very achievable, it's simply a matter of practice. Re-training yourself to remember what you naturally did as a child. When wanting to teach people something language is very important. To say that something is difficult to learn sets up the student to predetermine that they are going to have a difficult time learning this, it becomes a strain, a mind block. Creates a tension in the learning process. But to tell a student that this is very achievable the student sets out to learn with a much more free flowing positive mindset that yes I can learn this with ease and practice. That said I do not believe that visualization is difficult to learn at all, its more simply a matter of practice. Like anything in life if you want to learn and develop somthing you have to put your focus on it regularly whether it be a sport or IM system or self development or studying to be a doctor. Somethings may take longer to learn than others, that does not make them difficult. It just means a more intense focus is required over a longer period of time. Thinking "I can do this, I can learn this" vs. "this is going to be very difficult to learn" are two totally different mindsets. One will take you a long way towards your achievement, the other will make the way much more difficult for you. Just some of my own thoughts on mindsets and learning! |

Totally Agree with you Maureen. Very good post, people really do need to be relaxed and not frustrated when first trying to visualize. Relax, have fun, PLAY with it first, then get serious and visualize in more detail. When you pray / meditate visualize what your asking, it doesn't matter what you visualize really, it's more of the intention. If that makes any sense! Have a good day everyone! |

Althouth I've read few books on influenting physical world and attracting happenings just by visualisation and desire I didn't practice it very much yet. Anyways, experience shows - that really works. It is really profitable and compensative to believe in such mind power. I do believe in it and I'm really into knowing more. Please share your experiences and show that tutorial you've promised Im really interested, how deeply and how much in detail one should imagine? An example would do the job. Thanks and best luck! |

Visualization is one of the most important things that anyone can learn. As we mature, and get knocked around a bit in life, our image of ourselves and what we can accomplish continues to go down. Without daily visualization and affirmations, we would soon be saying, "Why even try!" We must continually work harder on ourselves than we do our business, to paraphrase Mr. Jim Rohn. Currently I am reading and practicing the chapters in The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino. I am on the first chapter "love" which I believe levels all the playing fields. I also practice ho'oponopono, the Hawaiian method of one taking complete responsibility for whatever shows up in life. Everything is then "cleaned" with forgivness and love. |

I find that writing really helps me feel the feelings more than sitting still and thinking about something. When writing, you can only focus on that one thing, which really allows me to get into the moment and put a great deal of focus on what I want to experience. I'm glad that I figured this out, and it's really helped me out over the last year. Give it a shot, you may just find this the easiest way to visualize. |

Hey Everyone, Thanks for the interest in this thread, it really is a fantastic way to not only increase your business, but your mind as well. Here are some VERY BASIC techniques to get yourself started on your path to a sharper minds eye ![]() Meditation and Mental Clearing It is very important for you to first learn how to relax and de-stress your mind, I know how easy it is to always have the next task on your mind, but you must try to clear your mind of ALL thoughts. It is difficult at first and require a lot of patience to stop the mind chatter, your conscious mind loves talking to you. ![]() Belly Breathing The best way I have found for quieting the mind is as follows:
You will feel better mentally, physically, and spiritually after you are completed with this short exercise, my favorite part is the exhale, I really try to focus on negative energy leaving my body (imagine a black mist exhaling from your mouth) and good energy entering my body (white mist as you inhale). The reason you are becoming relaxed is mainly due to the physiological response your body is having to the increase in oxygen, as well as, the hypnotic trance of counting your breaths. It's definitely a win-win. ![]() There is no spoon Let us now begin the visualization portion of this tutorial. This is a really great way to strengthen your visualization skill, I love it because you can verify your progress very quickly. Here are the steps involved:
After you have mastered this technique we will go into techniques of exploring your sub-conscious mind, it is harder to create a scenario that is made up in your head than it is to remember and visualize what is already around you. (which the majority of people will have a hard time with anyways) I truly hope this points you in the right direction, please let me know if you have more questions or would like me to continue the tutorial. Have a great day everyone! -Ryan |

If you make more than 10k per month online, then you may be a visionary genius if you make less than 3k, then you are insane. |

I don't do this exactly but I do something similar. What I like to do in order to keep myself going and to motivate myself to work on my business (market my health/weight loss website, add fresh content regularly, maintain everything, etc.) is picture the end result of everything as well as the process behind it. I picture all of my hard work paying off in terms of several different rewards. I might visualize myself making more sales or maybe just picking up targeted traffic from a particular source that I worked hard to get it from. |

Visualization can be very powerful, but it is only one of a much greater range of powers. The important consideration with Visualization is not just to "see" from a third party perspective, but to actually be there and feel it in the first person, knowing, beyond doubt it is 100% true. One of the most powerful forces is Faith. Not blind faith as in religion, but absolute faith. |

Absolutely APC, faith has a lot to do with it. But as you said, blind faith (believing in something YOU have no measurable results in) is not the way to go. You must believe with all the fiber in your being. |

This is a great tool, and I appreciate the reminder. I was trained to focus on my breath, then on sensations throughout the body. I've heard Deepak Chopra talk about dropping an intention in the 'gap' before, and more and more I am seeing results in my life. This is one habit I want to adopt, very quickly. Thanks for the reminder. |

Hello I seen loads about this and it's called law of attraction. What you visualize you will get. I want to try meditate and do this but I worry about one thing I heard about. Sleep paralyzis it is when the body fall asleep when your mind are awake. It's not harmful but can be pretty scary. Do you think you can get it when you try to meditate? I just heard people can get it when they relax and try to fall asleep. Gonna try this. |

As for sleep paralysis - mind awake. body asleep - it is the starting point for Out of Body Experiences which I recommend to everyone. If you ever feared "death" - which does not exist - you sure won't after an OBE or Astral Projection I assure you. | |
