I've found that if you want something, you have to visualize it first. One of the things that helps me is simply posting a picture or description of what I want on a place that I look at daily - my monitor. Before I lost 186 pounds, I had a picture of a very fit body builder on my monitor. What do you have on your monitor? Or fridge, mirror, bulletin board, etc.? |

Yes that is very true my friend. I used to have a SailBoat image. But I found that we really need to concentrate on the achievements and milestones we actually complete as well. We really do not want to keep wishing or living in the future all the time, we need to see concrete results and rewards along the way too. | |

My desktop changes with my mood and is usually pics of really nice nature scenes because that calms and centers me and inspires me. I love this amazing planet and I love looking at great pictures of it. I love being in nature, which is not hard to do where I live, in the country on a lake surrounded by mountains, trees. When I open my internet browser window I see my goals page which is nicely done up with things I want to achieve in life, in business. Words along with great pictures. The page inspires me, uplifts me, keeps me focused on where I'm going. |

I ussually have something that reminds me of my goal, or something to change my attitude. Nowadays, i have a nice old balcony from New Orleans. It Reminds me of Lestat, you know the guy? from Anne Rices books? if anyone does.. great, now you know what im talking about. Reminding of him puts me in the POWERFUL mood. Quite good for internet market, if i say |

My desktop is very minimalist thanks to a post on Zen Habits called "How To Create A Minimalist Computer Experience." I feel like it motivates me to accomplish something beyond the surface. Try it out. |

I always have pictures of my past trips to the Pacific Islands. I change them every once in a while. At this time I have a giant wave from Oahu's North Shore. I don't have the money to go there at this point in time. I am struck by the economic depression. I have lost my employment quite a while back and I cannot find anymore work. I am puttering on eBay. It brings income but just enough for rent and food. My next step is to do a vision board. I am planning on it whenever I can find the board. I am going to order one on eBay as there are no such things to be found in the area where I live now. Then I will do a very nice one! :-) I used to fly the world constantly. Not anymore, at least not as much as I would like to and mostly short haul. This is why I am keeping these images on my computer monitor so I can think of these beautiful places and put my consciousness on them so I can go back... hopefully before too long. |

Just seeing my monitor and being grateful for having one is enough for me. I know that the abundance in the world is surely going to help me because I am here now. The world is abundantly offering me the hope that my hearty shall continue beating for at least another day.

I use the Vision Wall feature from http://www.Gtdagenda.com - online project manager. Each goal can have inspiring pictures attached to it. Then you can set up reminders that send this "Vision Wall" to your e-mail each morning and look at it a couple of minutes. |

Why you need some specific visualization tool. Just surf the net and try to find some motivational pic or some thing you really love to have... Save the pic and if you need some modifications on it you can use adobe... or Coral Draw.

I use a software that generates subliminal images on my monitor, and the images include my dream vehicle and many more. I find subliminal techniques effective. you can add what ever image you want to the software. Search the net for "subliminal images" and you will find link to down load it for a free trial.

I have a collage/vision board sitting on my desk and I'm really stoked to say that I've accomplished everything that is on the board this year except for snowboarding. (that is easy to do though). I'll probably make one every new year as it's been successful for me so far. As for what's on my computer screen, I tend to like flowers myself. |
