Default my life motto

I have but one mantra and motto I live by daily:

Remember the past.... But live for the moment..... while keeping your eye ever forward to the destiny you create today.

I try to focus on a new motto each year for my email signature that provides inspiration, or at least a laugh, this year my motto is:

Helene Malmsio
Live simply, Love generously, Care deeply, Speak kindly.

It only makes sense to quit something which you have no business trying to do

Great to know that you are living your life based on a motto.but is it effective?i mean is there any change in your life when you did not use those mottos and now that you use mottos?

I have two. The first one is if someone angers you, you put yourself in bondage to that person...you become a slave. Practice self control.

The second is a quote by Michael Caine. Be like a duck. Calm on the surface, but paddling like the dickens underneath.

I updated my mantra recently it used to be "Sky" but now I am "Samurai". Samurai are courageous warriors who walk alongside death. It's important to note that death is all around us and that when any bad event, no matter how much it hurts or pains us, compared to death this bad event is a gift and learning experience we should learn and grow from.

Slightly complex but I like to imagine myself as a Samurai.

My personal motto that I live by seems apathetic but i assure you that it isn't.

It is what it is.

I live by this because you can't stop things from happening good of bad so just keep moving on knowing that nothing that happens is due either justly or unjustly.

Do the best. Be the Best. Being Second is not motivating.
