HELP ME PLEASE, SOMEHOW! Lately I've become a nervous wreck. I can't sleep, i go to sleep at 10 am and sleep till 5 pm and repeat the process. I can feel that my nerves are running wild. I don't know if it's because of the heat, or something else. Somehow I feel like I've let my self go. I gained 14 lb in the last month (for no apparent reason). I can't seam to concentrate on doing things, It's like I've developed ADD or something. I don't know what's wrong with me nor what to do. I just know that I'm all over the place. I want to start making money, help out other WF members, study for the university (unfortunate I can't find a way to force my self to do that). I feel stable all the time and self-confident because I know I can do things if i set my mind to it. I managed to set my mind on speed reading and got to read 1200 words in a minute in just 7 hours or reading materials and doing drills. btw i highly recommend Evelyn Wood's book on speed reading... Can anyone help me or is there no hope for me but to have a nervous breakdown? |

I think first thing to do is go to a doctor for a physical exam. The weight gain may be a symptom as may be the nervousness. If you've gone from feeling in control and being able to focus on learning to being unable to concentrate, sleep, etc - it may be symptoms of a physical problem. kay |

| Oh god I HATED that stuff. Did nothing but make me thirsty. Now to the poster. 1.) See a doctor. 2.) Since this is posted on an internet marketing forum and not a medical advice forum, I'm assuming this has something to do with frustration by said internet marketing. What's going on with that? |

| Ummm... I'm a student... so... I'm working over the sumer part time... so... Quote:
I read a few posts below mine, and I found some good advice on organizing myself. I'm gonna try them out and try to keep up my own expectations. it's just that at stuff like this I just do them for about 2-3 days and i kind of "forget" about them. I understand psychology that much that I know it's my subconscious trying to reject new habits so... I think I'm gonna write my objectives on the computer and print them out and glue them either on my screen or on my wall in front of me... anyway, it's 7.30 am here... i took a bath just now, and i shaved... feeling good at the moment... i'll go and try to get some sleep now... "good night" y'all Just a quick update: i checked my symptoms and it looks like depression for some reason i got 3/5 symptoms.... damn...

The next week and a half is going to SUCK but I know I'll have an awesome launch. If I get overwhelmed, I take care of myself. Ramming yourself into the ground reduces productivity (as I found out first hand - I've done site design/graphic design for YEARS but when I first uploaded Ninja Safelist, it was NOT my best job). When you get stressed, calm down, refocus, and get back to work. You might feel like freaking out but don't do it. Save your energy, breathe deeply, do something you like for a little while, refocus and tackle your to-do list (easy tasks first).

Thank you everybody for your support... Last night I managed to go to sleep @ 7:40 am and i only slept for 5 hours at least I'll go earlier to bed today.... As for the stress part... It's not like I'm jumping up and down because i'm stressed, i just feel like there is mt Olympia in front of me with this whole thing... I don't have a deadline, so I'm not stressed out by that. I'm stressed out by the fact that I would sit down and "work", as much as I can while listening on an audio tape on how things work in the IM world, for 15-16 hours and the amount of work that I do is simply so minor to the fact of my own demands. I'm making my own graphics, my own copywriting, my own web design, my own content, my own product... this is a one-man-army project. And as much knowledge that I do have about certain things... well... it's still to much work... The thing is i'd love to join in with someone experienced, since this is the first time that I'm doing this at all, but good help is so hard to find. I don't mind sharing the profits 50:50 with someone... it's just very hard for me to find good help... |

I think you should try yoga and meditation especially pranayama exercises they work wonders in soothing your nerves.atleast you can meditate for 15 minutes every day but if you can learn and do pranayama breathing exercises it will work wonders for you.

Maybe you're just thinking of too many things at once. It's a common thing that happens to everybody. Like clubvikram said, relax and focus on one thing at a time! The Warrior Forum will always be here to support you as well so don't stress yourself out too much.

I don't your age but the weight gain concerns me as I've had four heart attacks and before each my weight shot up.I also tired easily and shortness of breath. I don't want to unduly concern you but a trip to the Dr would be advisable. -Lyn |
