Default Planning = Success.Help!!! By posting how you plan To reach your Goals

He Everyone,
Yesterday I decided to make a key turn on my life, I said to myself:"If I do the same things I will get the same result".
So I took a piece of paper and I stared writing the things that I'm not happy with and that I need to change, under four big Titles:
1-Health (I'm not practicing any time of sports...)
2-my Studies (I'm not studying on a regular basis...)
3-Business (I discovered the internet marketing since a year and a half, and I didn't start my business yet...)
4-Money (I'm financially dependent on my parents...)
if you are asking yourself "why didn't he speak about love, it's because my problem with this topic if financial (to get married).
this was the First step. Today I'm going to write a plan and prepare a to-do-list for the next days of the week. But I don't know where to start.
I think this is the most important thing to reach success so please help by posting.
how you set your goals? How did you plan to reach them? Is there any tool that simplifies the task? Which is more effective: changing all the bad habits at one time, or doing this progressively?
I hope this will also help others,
Thanks in advance.

I have found that if you make a daily to do list it should be gearerd towards smaller tasks. What worked for me was having a weekly to do list for bigger tasks and a daily list for smaller ones. Sometimes you'll underestimate how long it will take to complete something and need to make adjustments. When it comes to personal goals stretch them out over the week to give yourself room to make adjustments and even to screw around sometimes because it will happen. But as long as you see that you're crossing things off of the list you will know that your getting somewhere. Example would be for a daily list to write: Clean out e-mails, do keyword research, small things that can be done in one shot. For the bigger goals like let's say article marketing you may say my goal is to write 20 articles per week and put it on your weekly list. Break it down into segments like three articles a day. The smaller you make the task feel the bigger it's completion will be at the end of the week. This is what works for me.

Thanks, I ll Try this.
One more question, is there any tool you use to manage all your tasks and goals or are you doing it the Traditional way?

Thanks again for your help.

Hey,

I've been using Mark Joyner's Simpleology 101 module for a couple of years now. This has been really helpful to focus on what's important, and how to set your goals. It takes me every morning about 10-15" to plan out what to do and what to focus on that day. I use this in combination with another selfhelp tool, 3dMind, which helps me balance out any mental blocks that might get in the way to do the tasks I wanna do.

You can get the 101 course for free at the simpleology dot com website, together we the "webcockpit module" which is your online tasklist manager.

Hope this helps

Have fun

Bart
