Default I will probably get slammed for this but here goes...

I keep seeing more and more about the “Law of Attraction”, the power of visualizing, and the “Abundant Universe” and frankly, I think this is just more enabling for those folks who have a hard time getting anything done.

Dr. Wayne Dyer and Joe Vitale might have “visualized” having success but they also acted on their goals. Maybe Bill Gates read the Master Key but he and his partner still locked themselves up in a room for over a week and worked hard on creating Windows.

In addition, this talk of an “Abundant Universe” just flat out confuses me. Where did this come from? Where is the evidence?

Because someone “thought” about achieving success and then did what it took to succeed does not prove to me that there is an abundant universal force waiting to give you everything you want if you just think about it a certain way.

I’m not saying that keeping pictures around or thinking of what you would like to achieve is a bad thing but don’t let it replace doing something.

Sure, having things around to remind you of what you desire in life has some power but I have something more powerful called “The Law of Distraction”.

The “Law of Distraction” states that if you have three days to complete an assignment and you get distracted and unproductive for a day then you now have only two days to complete your work.

You don’t get that day back no matter how hard you “visualize” having it back it don’t come back.

For every minute you get distracted from what you should be working on you lose that minute.

My law has been proven and you can test it for yourself. Take a week off and think about getting a check and see if the Universe gives you a check at the end of the week.

So the next time you need some motivation and you start to fall into the “Law of Attraction” thinking that you can lay around wishing to have a mystery force pay your bills just knock that thought out of your head and remember my “Law of Distraction”.

You don’t work you go hungry.
