Default * SELF-BELIEF is The Name of the Game *

*

Right.

Self-Belief is the #1 technique you have to develop and practice to get the success you really want.

Self-Belief is the most important asset you can have in any business and life venture.

Self-Belief led me to the life Iīm enjoying today...

When I see so many people struggling and not getting what they want, I can only show up here and give you a basic reminder that can save your life and your business (if applied):

Self-Belief (your own) is creating (literally) the life and business results you are experiencing right now.

No more, no less... As easy as it sounds.

Self-Belief created a million dollar business for me, when nothing was there before.

Self-Belief helped me to have the needed persistence to keep going and never give up.

Self-Belief pushed me to go harder after my dreams, even though I always was persuaded by my family and society to just "follow the herd".

If you think this is just self-help rubbish... think again.

This is business basics 101.

Not enough?

Let me introduce you the wisdom from one of my mentors. One of Britainīs wealthiest self-made entrepreneurs of the last 50 years, Felix Dennis:

"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent...

This is the core of it. Persistence is not quite as important as self-belief.

I have known people who believed in themselves, who acted on that belief, "got lucky" and quickly got rich.

Persistence merely offers a second or third bite at the cherry. Your belief in yourself brought you to the cherry bowl in the first place.

Self-belief is a priceless asset.

We may detest arrogance, yet isnīt true that we admire it a little, too? Even though arrogance is a poor, shabby thing compared to real rooted self belief. It is an imitation of the real thing.

Why do we covertly admire such attributes? Because such people have what the ancients called "the look of eagles" about them, which has little to do with their appearance.

Single-handedly, individuals with ingrained self-belief (and usually, a dollop of arrogance) have changed the destiny of nations.

Self-belief is a priceless asset.

And donīt give up, if you want to be rich.

This is the core of it."

Hi Kneb,

After University I had an interview for a journalist position at Dennis publishing. At the time it was open plan, and whilst he wasn't there, I could see Felix's seat. I'm not sure if I admire him, but I learned a lot from reading his autobiography as well.

Kneb, you have said some profound things about self belief in this post.

But what do you say to those who say you should not put all your belief in self, but in God instead? And those who quote the scripture that says "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." and... "Without me you can do nothing."

Some people believe that self has its limitations, while God is limitless in what He can do through us. That said, I do believe that self belief is indeed a priceless asset, and that one must believe in himself before he can expect to accomplish anything.

PS: You're right. Persistence is not as important as self belief.

Kneb, this post is such an eye opener.

And really it's the key to manifesting your
desires.

Without self-belief you never seem to
pull together enough action to do anything
about your finances or business or your
relationships or your weight, or whatever...

Opportunities pass you by because you
are unable to recognize them.

Thanks again for this amazing post.

Keneb,

Thanks for a great post. The person who realize that self-belief is the key to everything in life is well on his way to success. But the for those somehow lost that belief and struggling, the big question is how to regain it and transform oneself into a self-believing person.

Kneb...Great post!

I totally agree that self belief is in it's self everything. A person could possess all the tools and fortitude to accomplish a thing and always end up with failure.

When my one year old daughter just started walking, I watched how determined she was to accomplish it. She totally believed she Could do it before she actually could.
We were all born with that inate ability to believe strongly in ourselves.
I think that overtime our ability to believe in ourselves is deminished by society- mindless tv, negative peer association, emotional abuse (even when done in a joking manner), etc.

Success4all:
From my most recent experience, when my Self Belief was lost, when I once had it, it came from a deep rooted limiting belief I had about myself. Over the last few months I've eliminated many limiting beliefs I didn't even know I had, through meditation and the use of affirmations.

Belief is the core principle behind EVERYTHING!

Before any success may be achieved, you have to believe it's possible for you to be successful. You have to believe you have the skills it takes to accomplish the task. You have to believe in the process you use to reach success.

Yes, belief is the core principle behind ALL success. And all failure too.

Just about everything posted to my membership site focuses on this one principle and how to use it.

the issue is how do you cultivate self belief? Reading and knowing self belief is important is good and all. but you need to have it and build it within yourself.

Yes right self belief is the key to all the riches, some people have it in abundance and others cultivate it.though i dont know how exactly to go about it.I think here positive affirmations and creative visualizations might help and play a significant role.

Absolutely.

When I sold everything I owned - which was not much - when I was 20 or so, and decided to start the first ever national computer software retail business 33 years ago, it was self belief that enabled me to achieve it and create the biggest company of its time in 5 years - in the bricks and mortar world.

If you do not believe in yourself, no one else will.

I agree with you 100%.

Self-belief is what has motivated me to keep going even though it hasn't been easy.

When you know yourself and what you're capable of doing, you persist, no matter the difficulties.

Right on!

And let's add SELF-LOVE to the equation.

In my experience, SELF-LOVE, makes SELF-BELIEF, easier, and SELF-LOVE, unlocks the key to manifestation.

'Nough said.

Thank you for the awesome post.

I think loving one self and believing in one self are interlinked. If you would love yourself then you will believe more in your abilities, attributes and skills. If you will love yourself others will also love you and believe in you.

I think that believing in yourself can strengthen your personality and build confidence. Loving yourself can also make you achieve success because you believe you can accomplish tasks with flying colors.
