Are you an action taker or an action faker?

Some of you may be familiar with MJ Demarco. He wrote a book called The Millionaire Fastlane and runs a large success forum. He's pretty passionate about his message and here he talks about the difference between an action taker and an action faker. There's a lot of talk about "taking action" and some of us are sick of people just using that phrase as a cliche, taking initial action is great but taking consistent action is the real key to success and satisfaction...

Great video share. I like the way MJ breaks it down in a simple fashion. It's not about taking action, it's about taking consistent action. Took me a little awhile to apply consistent action to my online business but, once I grasped that information, I became unstoppable.

I know there are a lot of people out there who don't want to hear the truth, but this is the truth. If you want to be successful, you have to commit to taking "consistent" action until you reach your goal. That means it could take months or even years to achieve your goal, but those months and years will pass no matter what, so you might as well spend that time working towards your goal.

Don't stop just because you don't see results right away, or your motivation dies, or obstacles show up. Keep on pushing forward and you will achieve your goals. Even if you're only taking baby steps each day, it is better than nothing.

Obnoxious to say that I "fake action" prior taking action.

It's called visualization and will run many cyclical brain dumps before ambiting performance.

How many cycles? As many as it takes until I'm satisfied with the result.
Put your thinking cap on, take a deep breath in and just watch me do it...switching lanes.

Visualization...I cling onto a source and spiral my way up the ladder. I visualize myself doing it.

I take power pauses. Then swing back hitting harder next time. I say "watch out scamps out there because here I come", and wham... here I am. Now you see me next time you won't.

That's how I feel too, more focused. Though I rejoice in daily doses of excitement and satisfaction and am all about the journey, there is a small part of me that enjoys looking back to see how far I've come.

I think what a lot of people do is they say they are busy, but they aren't productive. Productive is you are focused on a specific goal being busy can mean anything. You can be busy listening to music but that doesn't really mean you are being productive. In order to be a true action taker you must have goals and be productive toward them.

You need to be an action taker to be successful in life...ALL THE TIME. You are not just there because you need to be, you are there because you want to be. Presence of mind is always good when it comes to businesses especially if you have a goal in mind.

  • I find that time is just going much faster these days, I Google "Is time speeding up/" and I found that there is scientific evidence that time is speeding up... I knew I wasn't going crazy... For this reason, there is no time for procrastination. We must stay focus and positive...
    Just some thoughts...
