Forming an online mastermind group focused on profit, value, integrity and positive habit change
Hi all,
I'm creating a new online mastermind + accountability group in which we'll support each other in developing not only our online businesses, but also our positive habit change efforts.
I see members of the group as having the following characteristics:
- Already have an existing online business, or at least have a specific idea for one (or several) that you'd like to develop
- Want to improve your habits and lifestyle in order to increase your happiness, energy, fulfillment, self-realization, etc. Meditators / yogis very welcome
- Motivated to create / grow your business not only to make money, but also to benefit others. Your online business is growing / has the potential to grow because it provides real value to users, not only because of marketing techniques
- Have a real desire to help the other group members, listen to them, and offer your honest opinion and advice on their situation
- Able to speak concisely and to the point, so that each member gets an opportunity to discuss their own situation in every meeting
- Have the energy and free time needed to work on your project
- Work well with external accountabilty and deadlines
A bit about me: I'm a freelancer with plenty of free time and a zillion ideas and projects bouncing around in my head, but have a hard time finding the discipline and focus to get my own projects finished. Accountability works great for me - I pretty much never fail to deliver on an external deadline/commitment, whether at work, studies or otherwise, so I know a mastermind group like this will help me tremendously to achieve my goals.
The way I see it, we'll have weekly skype meetings in which we'll do the following:
- set goals for the next meeting, both in terms of our online business projects and positive habit change
- report our performance on last week's goals and discuss issues and questions that we're facing, and then get feedback from the group on our situation
- possibly have a book club in which we'll read stuff like think and grow rich, 4 hour workweek, the power of habit, passive income blogs, etc.
