Some of us underestimate the value of making others feel important, but it's one of the most valuable elements of success. If you do this, they will go out of their way to help you.
No matter how "unimportant" their status or job may seem, we should make them feel valued...
1) Ask their opinion about certain matters.
2) Compliment them on anything they've done, even if it's something that they regularly do.
3) Call them by their names.
4) Help them if you perceive they need any... even if they're not asking for it.
5) When you're recognized for a certain achievement, put the highlight on your team or group mates on how they have been responsible for your success.
