Thinking Strategies -- opinions needed

Hey, everyone...first time I've posted something like this. I would like to ask your opinion on a course that I'm putting together. It's all about developing advanced thinking strategies, speed-thinking skills and highly effective decision making skills.

This course will be 100% free (with the minor exception that it requires opt-in to my list and somewhere within the course, there will be promotions for paid programs, such as advanced courses or coaching). I would be extremely grateful if you would be willing to answer the 3 questions below and provide any feedback you feel is appropriate.

The information I'm putting together is simple and powerful. It has also been applied by Fortune 500 companies such as GE and others -- so this is real-world practical information that has been fully tested.

It is going to be about 1-2 months worth of content (that is dripped out over that time).

First, how would you prefer this type of material to be presented:

1. A membership site with a forum
2. A membership site with a private facebook group
3. A live presentation over 30+ days -- probably 30 minutes to an hour each. The content will be staggered, perhaps every other day or 5 days on/2 days off. This would probably be done through a Google Hangout
4. A series of podcasts hosted on Itunes
5 Something else (please specify)

Second, aside from the base-line content that will be presented, what types of information would you like to learn in a course on advanced thinking strategies? For example, logic and critical thinking are not really covered in much detail in this course, as it focuses on higher-level cognitive widgets (called brain apps). Would you prefer that logic also be covered? If so, to what extent?

Finally, how involved would you want to be in the course?

1. attendee/observer
2. interact with other participants through comments
3. interact with presenter (me) through live Q&A at end of each segment
4. fully interactive, hands-on (workshop style)

Thanks in advance if you choose to provide your feedback. Also, if you would like to provide additional feedback about this type of course and how I could make it absolutely the most valuable free program available, that would be awesome. I would literally like this to feel like a product that would cost $1997, if that is possible.

Also -- how likely would you be to go through a training program for advanced thinking skills? Why or why not?

I'm sorry, it's not very clear what you will be teaching. Advance thinking strategies and decision making are very vague terms. How will this course help the average person? What result can they expect?

@UnkwnUsr -- Great question...The two benefits that I listed originally were:
      • speed-thinking (i.e. increase your ability to think faster than you do now)
      • better decision making (increase the quality of your decisions)

As a marketer, you have multiple campaigns to design. Adwords, FB Ads, sales copy to write. You are bombarded with tons of things to think about (new strategies and options, new marketing widgets, etc).

As a business owner, you have to think about what products to create, what skills to improve, which vendors to use -- on and on.

All of these things require brain power. Obviously, the better your brain functions, the easier your job is. If you can think better and make better decisions, then you will get better results in your business (look for new opportunities, evaluate your current situation, avoid mistakes that can cost you time and money, etc).

Here are some things that will be taught in the course:
      • Understand and improve cognitive engagement
      • Learn how to use X10 Thinking
      • Learn to use simple thought switching mechanisms
      • Develop multiple thinking strategies
      • Integrate at least 30 new thinking mechanisms into your current thinking strategy

Sorry for not providing more details originally. I didn't want this to be a sales pitch. I was sort of looking at it from a generic point of view -- if you were to take a course on advanced thinking, what would you want to learn or expect to learn? That way I can calibrate what I already have and teach what is really important to the participant.

Thanks for the feedback. If you need additional info, let me know. I'd be glad to go into more detail if necessary.

I'm noticing that 130 people viewed my post but only 1 person replied. Did I do something wrong? Is there really no interest in developing a better thinking strategy?

I was only looking for a simple thing: If you were to take a course that taught advanced thinking strategies (thinking strategies that are above and beyond logic), what would you want to learn from that? What topics would you want to know more about? What could I include in a such a course that would make it extremely helpful.

Below is a list of the actual topics that the course covers -- I was wanting to avoid posting this because I wanted opinions from people who did not yet know the content -- so I could calibrate what I have. But, here it is. If you have any opinion on this subject at all, I would really appreciate your input.
        • Welcome to Metacognition
        • The value of "something else"
        • Einsteins contribution to X10 Thinking

        • Applied Creativity

        • Understanding TenPower

        • Thought Strategy
        • Quality Thinking
        • Humor as a thought tool

There's about 15 more topics, but I'm going to stop here. These are just the rough draft titles for each topic and I know they don't do any more than hint at something (that was intentional). But, hopefully this gives an idea into the content. I'm not try to pitch the content or ask if it's a good idea (the idea has already been proven in Fortune 500 companies throughout the world). I'm just looking for "what else can I put in it" and "what would the average person interested in improving thinking skills want to learn in a course about improving thinking skills". Any and all input appreciated. Thanks.
