[TELL ME] - Do You Only Want This?

I'm always seeing many people talk
about all the things they WANT to
do or SHOULD do.

They use phrases such as positive
thinking, redefining success etc.

HOWEVER...

These phrases become MEANINGLESS
if you're not backing it up with ACTION.

All of these ideas can be very powerful IF...
you put them into practice.

Give yourself a reason to understand how
to CLOSE the gap between saying what
you're going to do and making it happen.

There is a DIFFERENCE between saying and doing.

    - Many people SAY they want to be RICH

    - Many people SAY they want to be HAPPY.

    - Many people SAY they don't like their JOB.

    - Many people SAY they want to be in SHAPE.

However ACTIONS always speak louder than words.

The people that are out DOING instead of WISHING and the ones SUCCEEDING!

Maybe I think about this a bit differently. It isn't really like these two things are separate from each other. Its more like they are on a scale of purposeful change.

First is thinking, then talking about, then imaging, then trial action, then final action. I am sure there are more steps but those are pretty common. Many times, peopel are stuck at one stage or the other. They linger on a spot on the scale because it satisfies an emotional need they have.

But the idea that there are only saying and action is not quite how we work on things in our lives. part of the reason this idea is so popular is because we are outside observers to what is happening in the hearts and minds of other, and we only see what is taking place in the outside world.

But inside other people, there is a whole bunch of stuff happening that we can't see.
