Give Yourself A Fresh Start By Unloading The Weight You Carry Around Each Day...

This is a simple piece of advice, but it will do wonders for you and your business moving forward.

Many people feel overwhelmed each day when they come online and some people even feel "burdened".

"Burdened" was a word I've heard many times over the years during various Skype conversations and email exchanges I've had with people.

So here's the deal...

Every day you turn on your computer and even before you open up a web browser, you're already weighed down.

What we do online is all mental work, it's not like we're out there roofing houses.
But if we were roofing houses, this is like having a 100 pound backpack on you while you're doing it.

What's weighing you down is all the "stuff" you accumulate that just sits there on your computer.

Believe it or not, you're carrying all that around with you each day.

If you can't pinpoint why you feel overwhelmed, burdened, or even experience some level of anxiety, this can easily be the root cause of why you're felling that way.

What you need to do right now is lighten the load, break free, and give yourself a fresh start.

This weekend, take a step back, go to your hard drive, and start deleting stuff.

I'm not talking about re-organizing, I'm talking about deleting it completely and totally eliminating that "weight" one file at a time.

You need to get aggressive and think each file you delete is one less thing you need to carry around with you each day.

Stuff from years ago, junk products, software that collects dust, worthless PDF's, garbage PLR, stuff you "saved for later", trash all of it.

If you're on the fence about whether you should keep something, think about whether or not you will use it in the next 6 months...

If you say yes, I'm going to use it, that's fine.

Every 6 months you're going to repeat this process, so you may run into it again. And the next time, it goes in the trash.

What does this have to do with making money?

A lighter business moves faster and money loves speed.

Even if you're feeling great, and things are going well, you will be SHOCKED at how this simple task can positively impact your business.

A great post Mark on letting go of weight. The same can be said about most areas of life. My fav is the clothes in your wardrobe. I know it can take me a while to decide what to where. Imagine how much time & energy I have wasted over the years just trying to decide what to wear.

A simple trick I learned to get some visibility on what I was wearing is to turn my coat hangers one way. Whenever I where something I turn the coat hangers the opposite way. After a month or two I could see I was only wearing 6 out of the 28 t-shirts I had hanging up in my closet.

When it's all said and done, life runs soo much smoother without the baggage. I vote for cleaning out any baggage you might have to make your journey a little bit easier.

    Agree. Almost.

Cleaning, not only your the PC, puts you in an "organizing" state of mind. That helps you see what you really need to focus on. So, it doesn't have to be deleting files. It can be cleaning your room, desk, balcony, fridge, etc.
