I know that internet marketing has a learning curve. I would like suggestions or recommendations on how to add more value to myself by learning more. Should I read certain books, should i be on certain forums or should i look at and study leaders in the my industry? What is most effective? Share your stories on how you became a better internet marketer please.

Internet marketing is a business so treat it like a business!

Learn all you can about business and apply it to IM. See what other successful IMers are doing and figure out a way to apply it to your IM business.

First, you always have to consume information and continually be on the path to higher progress. It's easy to think that you know it all after you make a few dollars but we can never really know it all. Always look for others stories and things that they have went through so you do not go through the same things.

Also, I notice that I've always done the worst when "how can I make money" was in my head. Sounds weird right? Basically when we take ourselves out of the equation and instead focus on solving peoples problems. Having something that other people WILL PAY MONEY FOR is a better mindframe to have. Then from there providing it to them is the way to build a real business.

So yes, there is a huge learning curve but that goes with everything in life.

    Enjoy the journey.

first i would .. call it marketing ..and study marketing .. even internet marl=keting can have 70 different subsets of marketing depending on what you are selling and who you are selling it to ..

pretty much any business need online presence today ..

if you want to be a marketer ..find something you want to market ..and then explore different ways to market it ..you can easily spend years and years on the learning cuyrve and never get on the doing curve ..

omar mentions solving people problems .. what may be an add on to that is find a problem you have that other people have and work on solving it.. try to avoid the financial stuff right out of the gat..

solve proplems you have ..and would pay money to other to help you solve then solve that problem for others who will pay you money..or as you use different product run a review site and stuff you feel is worth it..offer on your site as an affiliate

Study leaders in your industry, read related books, and apply what you learn. I also recommend geting a mentor. Someone who you resonate with and understand.
