Sounds like good advice to me. I am a big Mark Zuckerberg fan.

Don't forget to create scarcity while also stealing others while being first to market at just the right time.

Try to break the thick brick wall with your head. Apply the advice given. Analyze the result.

Its a great tip from Mark Zuckerberg.


I think too many people are looking for the easy button and instant gratification with quick fast results that they missing the long term mind-set of every successful entrepreneur. Keep Persisting until you succeed.

Through hard work, keep refining your ideas to adjust to the market's demand. One day your ideas will be accepted.

It's truly lamentable that our preocupation with technicality can at times leave a bad rep to the simple steps.
Especially when considering that simplicity often encompasses something more than "The sum of the parts.". Namely, clarity, obviousness and a certain grasp of the overall future vector of our buisness.

Here's a revised mark zuckerberg advice for success:

1. Start working on an idea that everyone has been talking about in harvard for ages (so much for "inventing" it)
2. Make it seem like you're working on HarvardConnections but instead build a competitor
3. Steal harvard's name "facebook"
4. Get 5 more people to work on it, and then launch it using harvards infrastructure and connections
5. Screw over your team
6. Move to california and make billions
7. Success

Mark zuckerberg got lucky. He has no knowledge in anything aside from programming. If he didn't get lucky at harvard, he would be working at some low end software firm making $40k a year


No idea why people think zuckerberg's opinion suddenly matters more than it did when he lived in a dorm with 5 people. it doesnt.

I always believed in one Gary Vaynerchuk quote: "Ideas doesn't matter - execution does"
We all have great ideas and if we start a separate thread we can probably predict most of next 5-10 years "million dollar ideas". The question is "who's gonna execute them and how?"

True indeed! It is so simple and some people may not be satisfied with it but it is very powerful advice from Mark. We simply cannot give up no matter how hard or challenging our path gets.

You must believe that you have what it takes to make it happen and if things are not working out right now, simply analyze them the best you can and change your approach.

If you feel tired and worn out, rest up but make sure it is temporary and you get right back up. Another great saying I hear a lot, "If it was easy then everyone would do it." Keeping this in mind will help you to not give up and keep going.

A more important advice would be to keep moving forward.

If you say just 'don't give up' that could mean still not doing anything, procrastinating, but not giving up on a dream... but for the dream to happen it's important to keep moving forward.

Can't argue logic, I guess.

Never give up and insist until you get the result. Even the simplest ideas can become a millionaire businnes, it is essential to keep up with the times and with the demands of the market.
We open our minds and learn from successful people.

Yeah, I’m going with the people in this thread that says Zuckerberg just got lucky. It’s like trying to learn from Donald Trump. Trump’s father had made quite a bit in real estate before him and handed an empire to Donald to run. But at least Donald had to learn a lot and come back from bankruptcy a couple of times. Donald does have skills, he just can’t teach them. His books are just terrible.

Zuckerberg, on the other hand, is a case of just being rich. So people want to listen to him because he has money. Like might makes right. I have gold so I must be right. It is a self-perpetuating mistake.

Please, just listen to other people who are good at teaching people success. Zuckerberg has not taught anybody anything nor is he even trying. He is staying in his skill set – programming or coding or whatever it is. Let’s just leave him there. We will all be much happier, including him.

Now let’s choose people who are good at producing successful people to listen too. (Although this thread was an interesting side note.) and could be continued in some other way . . .

I guess if I had to find something positive to learn from him it would be to just stay in your own known skill set that will produce business. Coders can make some good scratch. Check all the apps around for further proof.

If you have more gold than I do, I'm going to listen to what you're doing differently to get more than me.

If you got lucky and it fell into your lap, I'm going to look into the people that made it fall into your lap, and what you do with it after you have it -- whether good or bad.

If you worked for it, I'm going to look into what you did to get where you're at, and what milestones you had in your career that set you up for the success you've got.

If you stole it, I'm going to learn about how you managed to get people to believe you (that old persuasive writing thing) and then follow your case as you traverse through the legal system.

You can learn from everybody, good and bad.

Happening hair wasn't one of those secrets.

I would agree!! Most people give up right before their breakthrough instead of staying focused and weathering the storm. Most individuals that we see as super successful struggled under the radar for many years before they reached the point in their careers where we actually recognized them for what they do.... Enough said and the movie was pretty good

The interesting story about successful Millionaire/Billionaire are most of them are "Dropout".

While the rest of us were negotiating curfews and cramming for the SATs, some of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs ditched high school to start building their fortunes.

Many did it out of necessity; others had a mentor (or at least a backer looking to piggyback on their success). All, however, had a demon drive to build something of their own. Even at a young age, that commitment and passion can win over investors.

I think that this is a great advice especially when it comes to internet affiliate marketing. Most people will quit as soon as they face setbacks and make no progress. Those who fail over and over again and still eventually succeed, are the ones that never gave up and learned a lesson from their failures.
