I want to create authority site. Please help to think right way
I'm going to create website where I explain people how to optimize, speed-up and protect their PCs in best ways I know to get their system working lot faster, without glitches, without advertising pop-ups, etc. I know it is big issues for many people and antiviruses or cleanup-software are not 100% solution for that. I have already helped some my friends by providing needed corrections in their system to get it working better. So why not to create website where I share all my knowledge on public.
What I asking here on forum, that is just to help me think correctly about all details to not make mistakes. You just read what I'm writing here and then write what you think
The main benefit of my future website would be my own content where I write what I know very well (not copywriter's text or poor scrape), I plan to make really awesome content for visitors. Ans yes, my content will be just reviewed and improved by real copywriter, as I am Ukrainian and cannot write with excellent English grammar myself.
Also I want to make solid design in black-red style like pcmag.com or warriorforum has. Approximately I will create 15-20 articles to fully describe my niche.
The monetization part will be reviews (as additional articles) of antiviruses and different PC optimization tools. In eyes of visitors I want to look as some expert in this niche and thus have sufficient trust to get them buying products which I recommend.
Regarding to promotion part, this is what I am worrying most of all. Worrying on how to not fail with getting it popular. Of course we all know what google ranks good content, but I cannot rely only on google and depend only on google, right?
I am almost sure such situation exists for most site owners: "when site just created, it is not ranked yet, but needed to do something to get it promoted, but don't know what to do...". I just don't want to encounter something like that.
I have some expectations that it can have some viral effect more or less, but not 100% sure of course. On initial stage I plan buy some traffic like PPV to my future site in expectation to get email-subscriptions or re-shares by their friends. Also I will buy some press releases probably. BUT main problem that I am NOT sure in that all. I am unfortunately not 100% confident marketer with years of succesful experience who know what to do and 100% sure in results. But I want to think correctly and do all more confidently when I'm building my marketing strategy.
Please help me to get correct understanding on how all these things working. Getting website popular depends not only on its promotion but also on site itself, thus I described here my key thoughts what I plan to do. Please you write anything (ideas, suggestions, critique, etc) which could help me to successfully realize my idea.
