What fears did you have to overcome when starting your online business?

Greetings everyone. Longtime reader of the forums (as an observer), first time poster (just joined a few days ago).

Okay, I am about to begin building an online business, but I am still a bit hesitant. Which is the reason for this post…

For those more experience warriors who have successful businesses online:
1) What were your fears?
2) How did you overcome those fears?

Although I appreciate short responses, please feel free to expand on your thoughts.
Thanks in advance!

I didn't have any fears per se back then when I started blogging.

I just jumped with both feet and got wet. Why involve the fear factor, after all I was subconsciously driven to do my thing and who's out to stop me.

I lacked confidence. My boss even told me that. I was afraid that I was wrong and didn't want to mess up. How did I overcome that fear? I told them myself, f it. If I mess up then I learn from my mistakes and that's how I got better.

Yeah, I guess that is a better way of phrasing it... Lacking confidence instead of fear. Unless someone does have a fear of failing, or of rejection, etc. Really, the only way to overcome those is to do what Net 700 said...

That is the only way to control your fears... confront them and don't let them control you.

Thanks guys. Your comments are much appreciated.
