7 Little Known Secrets of a Life-Changing Millionaire

I woke up this morning to one of my mentor's conference calls..

He is the GREAT Mike Litman and he shared alot of invaluable lessons that probably took him years to truly understand.

But you're going to get it in minutes!

==================================
7 LITTLE KNOWN SUCCESS SECRETS OF A MILLIONAIRE
==================================

My Mentor, Mike Litman

1) YOU DON'T HAVE TO GET IT RIGHT, YOU JUST HAVE TO GET IT GOING!

As discussed in my previous video, taking imperfect action is definitely better than taking no action.

Just like what I'm doing now.. I have 5 minutes before I move on to my next "time block" but I felt compelled to share these lessons with you because I trust you'll appreciate them and APPLY THEM. *cough*

2) USE "LOVERAGE" - LEVERAGE THROUGH LOVE.

I don't know what love means to you but when I think of love, I think of God.

When I think of God, I think of ABUNDANCE and how much He gives to us all.

To love is to give.

Mike said, "If you want to be promoted, approach that person and promote him first!"

3) FOCUS ON SHARING

A woman called in and said she felt alot of PAIN and resistance from the idea that she could make lots of money on the internet. Sounds familiar, right?

Mike said, "STOP!"

Stop focusing on YOURSELF.

Stop being self-absorbed.

And... START SHARING WHAT YOU HAVE WITH OTHERS.

Come from a place of sharing and by the laws of the Universe, money WILL come to you.

It's happened to me many times before. True story.

4) A DIFFERENT LEVEL OF INCOME DEMANDS A DIFFERENT YOU

I must have dozed off at this point because there's no notes here but I believe you get the point.

The mindset and skills that helped you make $100 won't help you make $1000.

The mindset and skills that helped you make $1000 won't help you make $10,000.

The mindset and skills that helped you make $10,000 won't help you make $100,000.

The mindset and skills that helped you make $100,000 won't help you make $1,000,000.

It's as simple as that.

You need to become the person DESERVING of that next level to reach it.

Got it? GREAT!

Let's move on to the most paradigm-shifting tip I got from the call...

5) COMMIT TO MOVING YOUR BUSINESS FORWARD 1% PER DAY

Don't try to give 50%! That's too much...

Don't try to give 30%! That's too much...

Don't even try to give 10%! That's too much...

JUST GIVE 1% MORE.

Just be COMMITTED to move your business 1% more

6) REALLY LISTEN AND APPRECIATE OTHERS

For all of you marketers out there I've got a tip for you.

The people who were on the call (including me) were superbly enthusiastic and excited about the experience with Mike because of ONE thing.

PARTICIPATION.

Mike Litman got everyone to participate by pausing to see if they gave him V5's (Virtual High Five's) when they agreed.

He also got people to call in to his phone and let the others listen to one of themselves talking and being featured.

And the first thing he'd do to show his appreciation is to ask them to publicize their website addresses and the amazing thing about Mike is that he REMEMBERS who his clients are and is genuinely interested in them.

How often have you bumped into old friends who don't even remember your name?

He got them to call in by asking one simple question :

"If i give you a million dollars, would you call?"

That's all there is to it!

Thank you Mike for all the inspiration and motivation! YOU'RE THE BEST!

7) YOUR TEMPTATION TO QUIT IS GREATEST JUST BEFORE YOU SUCCEED!

Now this is a huge one...

And it's very true..

I once saw James Arthur Ray demonstrate this in front of a life audience.

As he was giving his seminar, someone just suddenly stood up and cried for help..

James asked, "What's wrong?"

He broke into tears as he told his story and about how he wanted
to end his life...

"John..." (fine I made that up.. it was a long time ago ok!)

"You may feel like you're at the brink of death here..."

"But you're just one step away from a BREAKTHROUGH!"

The room went silent.. Nobody understood what James was saying..

Here was this man standing in front of James in the worst possible
situtation and James says he's on the verge of a breakthrough?!

"Give John a round of applause everybody!"

The crowd did so as John walked on stage to sit next to James...

"HAHAHAHHAHA!" James laughed at John in the face.

The room went silent again...

John looked at James bewildered. But after a few seconds, he
was laughing too and so did the crowd.

James was doing a "pattern interrupt" and changing John's state
because he knew that a breakthrough was not going to come from his current state.

After close to 20 minutes of intense coaching on stage, John was
suddenly revitalized with life...

All because James showed him how one of his beliefs, more
specifically that his late mother won't love him if he makes more money than her, was sabotaging his success.

After that one little shift, BAM!

John was a new man.

The crowd gave John a standing ovation as if he just won the world cup!

They went wild!

They shed tears!

Because they knew this man was on the brink of success and he almost threw it all way (including his life) when he was 1 step away from the breakthrough.

They understood what James Ray was trying to tell them.

When you feel like you've tried everything and you just want to give up, DON'T!

You're just ONE step away from Victory, my friends.

And with that I'd like to end my note =)

Thank you for reading, my friends.

Always say ICAN!

I always say this, and it is a pity that this is not talked about enough, but mindset is vital to any form of success.

Every professional will attest to this. The question is knowing if we actually consider ourselves as professionals in our various talents.

If we can't take ourselves seriously, then who will??

Thanks Saiful for your inspirational posts!"

      • Hi Richard!

        I concur with you 100%!

Tony Robbins once said "Success is 20% strategy and 80% psychology!"

People especially newbies should be focusing on the mindset and then act with power from that place!

I think you brought up a great point there Richard.

Nobody is going to appoint you worthy of leading others.

If it's one thing that I've learnt it is this :

Great people start out with a HUGE intention and while it might not show at first, the world will keep up with them as they keep that vision of what they want in mind.

        Everything has to start small.

It is your belief in yourself and your message that will propel you and shoot you into the top!

I believe that anyone reading this can turn something small into a phenomenon if he can see it in his mind's eye first... and then everything else will fall into place.

        Always Say I CAN!

To just get a little conversation going, I have to admit I have always disagreed with this statement (even from the guys that I follow their work).

YOU DON'T HAVE TO GET IT RIGHT, YOU JUST HAVE TO GET IT GOING!

As discussed in my previous video, taking imperfect action is definitely better than taking no action.
I believer in not being bogged down from perfection, but there is a limit and something extra credible about attention to quality control. I have seen a lot of marketers go down because in such a dog eat dog world they were sloppy when other weren't.

    2 cents.
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[1059256].message }}
  • Hi BB-Eats!

Come to think of it, you're right!

I've not thought of it that way...

But then again, something strange happens the
moment you just get it going..

    Let me explain...

This is what I normally do when writing a blog post
where I want to give a lot of value to my readers...

Honestly, the thought of writing a long 1000 word
post is quite intimidating so I just say to myself,
"You don't have to get it right, you just have to get
    it going..."

The first line gets written. Then a second and a third
and before I know it I've got so much momentum
I finish the whole thing at one go.

And then I just hit "save draft" and I guess this is
how I use this principle - I don't put out that unedited
    post, it's an imperfect action!

But here's where things get weird..

Your mind is kinda hard-wired to get your stuff out
at a certain quality - almost like a quality control and
you start tweaking stuff until you're proud of it.

    Having said that...

My mentor moves from Idea to Sales superbly fast
and the last time she did this it was SUPER imperfect
but it still earned her a nice $14,000 income from
    ONE seminar.

And she does this on a regular basis.. just like Mike Litman.

So, maybe we should heed this advice to a certain level..

    What do you think?

I think that is a excellent and quality response.

I think that on average when those who succeed say this, they are discussing taking action. When those who don't talk about it, they are talking about cutting corners

    Great input.

    • Hi BB-Eats!

      Thanks for the "thanks" lol

Yes, I think you're right my friend...

I think we're all talking about action and if I could
add another piece of wisdom from my mentor is this :

      MONEY LOVES SPEED

      But everyone already knows that...

But do you know how fast these Millionaires act?

      I'm speaking lightning fast!

Let me share with you a quick story to show you
      how fast I'm talking about.

      Here's exactly what happened :

My mentor, Suria Mohd, is quite new to online marketing
(but she's made her first million in offline marketing) and
she's not adept with the technical skills required to set up
      a blog etc.

She knew that people are making money online because
there are so many millionaires who made their millions
      online right?

However, she couldn't do it herself because she didn't
have time to learn all the technical skills. So, she decided
to outsource but was shocked at the rates!

      SHE SPOTTED AN OPPORTUNITY!

She immediately got a friend of mine who is very adept
with online marketing techniques here in Singapore,
met up with one of them, sat down, discussed it, created
a business plan within 4 hours and BAM!

9 days later, she e-mails me on Facebook with this :

So, that's EXACTLY what I meant by IMPERFECT ACTION!

Whoever said you can't make money because you don't have the knowledge just got their limiting beliefs kicked in the nuts!

It is my intention to have that effect on anyone reading this! =)

      Always Say I CAN!

  • Dotcompals,

    You got it my friend!

Who knew what our parents taught us when we were young
could make a huge impact on our adult lives, huh?

Haha! But seriously, I want to share something quite powerful
with you that I didn't explicitly mention in the post above.

If anyone reading this is a coach, you've probably come across Christian Mickelson's "Free Sessions That Sell".

The product's a $1500 product and Christian's going to take it down soon.

The system is good and produces results but I'm going to share with you one thing that I did which got me 200% better results than this system.

Are you ready for it? Gosh, my heart's beating...

But first, let me tell you what I accomplished with Christian's system first...

Before, his system yielded me 1 client in every 2 so that's a 50% conversion.

With the tip that I stumbled upon, that I'm about to reveal to you in a second, I have managed to get 100% conversion rate for the first 3 people I tried this with.

    So here it is...

COME FROM A PLACE OF ABUNDANCE

I used to think that if I told them everything I knew in that 1 hour free session, they're going to run away and do it by themselves...

But I was in a giving mood that day and instead of running away, they actually feel closer to me because they can feel my interest in their success.

And two of these people also thanked me with all sincerity... so fulfilling...

And said that I should charge higher for my services!

How often do you hear that?!

And oh ya, did I mention that all 3 became paying clients?

Anyone reading this, share everything you know!!! You will feel good about the sale( you'll get it much easier too) and you will be appreciated!

Again thank you for this post, it's much appreciated.

    • Hey Micheallatour!

      It's really powerful huh?

      And it's really true!

I've learnt that the best coaches in the world
      understand this!

If you've watched "The Biggest Loser" before,
when people want to quit, the trainers on the
show actually put the level up a notch higher!

That's the reason why those people have breakthroughs
and lose 100 pounds to 300 pounds while being on
the show and we can and should certainly adopt the
      same mindset!

And you're welcome, my friend! =)

      P.S. Of course I don't mind!

Man, I love the last quote.

In my opinion, every aspiring Internet Marketer should print the last tip - (Tip Number Seven) and frame it up on their wall, paste it in front of their laptop or use it as a wallpaper or something.

Just look at it every single freaking day.

That is a real total re-frame, that means instead of throwing in the towel when you feel at your most down ....

    You amp yourself up ...

BECAUSE you know success is around the corner when you get that feeling.

    How cool is that?

That means you NEVER lose ... because either way, as long as you keep working, you are on your road to success.

Love the good stuff Saif, pile it on!

    Take it to the MAX,
    Franklin

  • Hey Franklin!

    I agree with you 100%!!!

So let's put this up again for everybody to see :

YOUR TEMPTATION TO QUIT IS GREATEST
    JUST BEFORE YOU SUCCEED!

It really helps you to push 1% more just when
you think you can't and THAT'S when you make
    the breakthrough!

    Woo hooo!!!!
