Visualisation Practice - Some questions

Hi everyone It's my first post.

In my quest to self developpment , i'am very interested in mind stuff like meditation and visualisation. I found that this latter one is advised by many Sefl help teacher and systems:

Goal and wishes relisation : Law of attraction, Master Key System,
Pratical psychology and self-image : Psychocyebernetics, NLP
Sport and performance: Olympic athelete use visualisation for enhancing their performance, public speakers reharse in theur mind.

Even if the process is explained in all these source and seems pretty obvious and straight forward, all the books, course and teacher fall to specify one details that i never found and that i think is of great importance which is :

Do we have to see ouerselves externally (like i 'am watching another me doing the action) or seein in the first person mode like trought my own eyes like in reality.

Or do we have to play the movie twice , one in external mode and the second one in the internal mode. Or some goals require one method and others the second view. or Again do we have to switch back and forth.

Sone says that it doesn't matter since its the feeling that are important , or that the important is the idea that we put in the universal mind.
I don't necessarly disagree , but i'am with a sience background and i know that different results and goals need different methods and slightly differents method gives slightly differents results.

So if anyone could explian me this or gives me good books or video it would be great. By the way i already read Maste Key System and Psychocybernetics and they don't cover these specefic details.

Thank you all

I prefer to be guided along the way of visualization because a definitive picture is created in the back of my head originating from an experienced hypnotist who knows this game, in and out. I call him "Master". He takes care of the entire process and all I have to do is mentally follow through and visualize the outcome.
