What's Your Procrastination Killer?

"You can't build a reputation on what you are going to do" is my favorite quote ever from Henry Ford.

Every Warrior has a dream to become financially independent.

That's why it's important to make sure we take ACTION on our dreams...because without action, our dreams stay simply inside our imagination.

I'm a brand new, Warrior so I'd like my first post to be as helpful as possible so I can make some friends I'm dedicated to the work necessary to replace my income & I want to give you my procrastination killer and if you have any ideas about killing putting of life changing tasks, I'd love to here them

As Ramit Sethi's parents always told him. "A year from now, you're going to be a year older. What are you going to do?"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MY PROCRASTINATION KILLER!!

1. Start with an achievable goal then step up from it...for example if you're new like me a good goal would be: I'd like to make $1,000 by January so I can really take my blog off next year is a great small size goal that your subconscious can accept and work towards. This actually helps eliminate overwhelm and frozen syndrome. Try it! It actually makes learning business a lot less stressful and business becomes fun again.

2. Eben Pagan taught this valuable trick of reverse engineering your goal. So step #1 is asking yourself "How do I inevitably achieve my goal?" Then start from the last step, envision it then work backwards step by step to where you are now...reverse engineering was also taught in week 8 of "The Master Key System" and it's an insanely helpful way to put yourself into an automatic set of actions because you can connect your goals with a specific set of actions

3. Alright, now that we have a goal rolling and actions to take to get there, all you have to do is eliminate that overwhelming sense of a million things we have to do

I like to break a goal down to 3 sets of 3 which breaks down easy actionable tasks that ranges anywhere from 10-50 minutes.

So here's a simple way to break down your week. Start with your main goal, and break it down into 3 stages...if you have a product you'd like to launch I'm imagining your 3 big steps would be

1. create your product.
2. set up and optimize your website and funnel.
3. Start a JV campaign for sales!

Obviously that's a heavy task so we'd like to break things down even further. For example: Creating your product would be broken down further into 3 more steps.

1. Market Research
#2. Content Creation
#3. Product Reviews

Now we're getting somewhere!! But it's still vague so I'm going to break things down one more time!!

1. We need something that sells!!! So, we look in our niche and find the best selling courses on clickbank, amazon, or whatever your market place is....and like Russel Brunson always says, use what sells. Take what already works and use it. Don't reinvent the wheel, just throw good wheels on your car...building a car from scratch takes extensive skills and probably years...I dunno. All I know is using fully functioning engines designed by years of analytics and trial and error are much better

2. Now that we have product ideas we know make money, it's time to set up news sources. Let's build a successful network...search on twitter, facebook and blogs and build a network for your niche. Then start posting. Get involved and see what your market is doing...see what's hot with your fellow enthusiasts then use similar tactics...then when the time is right, throw out some love to your site/product with a sick article and optin option...tadah!!!

3. Now that you have all the flow set up inside of your market, you can create content that your market loves and build a table of contents you know will kill it. From that point, it's smooth sailing. You just break down a chapter every day or two and your book will be done in no time

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cool so quick summary and a little extra advice!!

1. Set a goal, you won't subconsciously fight...
..something you truly believe you can hit. 90% of Warriors have phenomenal ideas for successful businesses but the problem is they never get their foot in the door so they can't succeed. Once you're live and your business is moving, nothing can stop you from succeeding.

2. Reverse engineer your goal daily when you wake up or immediately after work and post a reminder wherever you go first...like the bathroom or your couch!! Reminder notes are friendly reminders when your old habits naturally take over

Just having that goal envisioned is beautiful but imagining yourself from your goal and connecting the actions YOU TOOK to get there is a game changer. It connects YOU DIRECTLY TO YOUR GOAL. Every time you do this, your goal gets more clear and your action steps easier....(if you have any questions on visualization you can post it here or PM me I'll be happy to help no strings attached. I want to make friends and the imagination is tricky! )

3. Break down your goals into mindless manageable action steps. Like to the point you don't have to think to act. You look at your to-do list and mob out like a champion...also don't worry if you fall behind. Everyone thinks they can do things more quickly than they can. You'll learn your action pacing by taking actions...don't focus on what you didn't accomplish...work hard to hit your weekly action tasks, be proud of what you finished then evaluate your next week, write a to go list on Sunday then rock out the next week. Every week you'll be shocked at the amount of things you did for your business that's now real, not a dream.

If you have any ideas or questions, I'd love to make a couple friends

Thanks,

Carter

The best way I have of beating procrastination is to get to work as early as I can, not long after I wake up, on my most important goal of the day.
If not, the whole day will go by without me accomplishing it.
