We are all in Warrior Forum, I guess, because we want to make money online. But have you ever really asked yourself WHY, and given yourself an honest answer?

By drilling down and understanding what your REAL answer is will help your motivation and focus you on realising your dream(s)

Let me give an example:-

Why do you want to succeed online?
- So I can be rich
Why do you want to be rich?
- So I can give up the day job
Why do you want to give up the day job?
- I want to be able to spend more time at home
Why do you want to spend more time at home?
- So I can get a puppy, it would not be possible if I was out all day
Why do you want a puppy?
- So I can enjoy countryside walks with the grandchildren ..

Now I visualise those country walks with the dog and family. Seeing the grandchildren enjoying the British outdoors with the unconditional love of the family dog. That is my WHY. I visualise it. I take consistent action to achieve it.
.....you get the idea?

- is it really a yacht, or mansion, or Ferrari that motivates you, or something simpler and closer to home?

- if it is the yacht or mansion or Ferrari (and there is no right or wrong answer to this process) ask yourself why. When you drill down to your real motivation your answers may surprise you.

Now it's your turn....

I think money itself is the biggest motivator.
It isn't about having those dream houses, yachts or
    having your dream car.
I personally dont like the idea of working under someone.
Getting exploited each day and having to wait at each
end of month your pay cheque.

Online gives you the FREEDOM to almost do anything
    you want.
So at the end I think money is the biggest motivator of all!

      Same.

Back when I was in college I joined a network marketing organization and read "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" (and "Your Money or Your Life") so I had a mindset change about work.

The lesson hadn't really hit home until I had an "On the job Training (OJT)" where we work at some company for free to get a taste of work life.

I HATED the commute, the officework, etc. and vowed to retire as early as I can so I started investing.

My First big Why is Freedom.
I wanted to be rich enough to enjoy life, not rot away at a cubicle chasing after a paycheck.

It was fine... until I read "The Success Principles" and joined a seminar by John Calub. It made me think and dream bigger:

Raise my country from poverty through education.
I'll start with my blog, soon write a book, and I'm not sure what's next after that but I'll get there.

I just need to keep reminding myself to not get sidetracked with the website visits or earnings (they're one step, but not the end goal) and stick with the big picture.

  • I love the sound of your puppy, but if I succeed online, I figure you gonna be walkin' round the British outdoors sans pooch.

    But srsly you are right.

I figure somea the big treasures got either a real fast burnout or a time-specific turnout.

Take the $15k necklace I did not get for Christmas.

(My bad for trustin' this to a 6yo, but even so...)

Can't wear that kinda stuff alla the time, an' sumthin' danglin' from your neck does not make you immune to sadness or tears.

So, yeah, I would actually like to lie in longer at the weekend an' do more chillin' kinda stuff — bulk up on some softer time, I guess.

So I gotta work to bum.

An' jus' to reassure you — I do not want your puppy.

One cool thing about Christmas was, I got noo boots, an' I do not wish to spend alla my bum time wipin' tongue marks offa 'em unless they are hooman ones belongin' to Benedict Cumberbatch.

Did some Sherlockin of my own and was gonna post numerous images of the most expensive necklaces like...

      ...but I thought.

      NAH.

Best to just wish you a very happy New Year Princess.

Couldn't find any that shot laser beams to fry out eyes or scorch the earth or obstacle in your way...just too lazy.

My "why" is really to just grab some fleeting moments with my kids and partner.

I live for those moments of pure joy.

      catching a perfect wave.

tasting something that conjured up a memory past, present or future.

Thanks for the mindfulness you share in your posts.

6yo's are pretty hard to wear at the best of times yet they love to hang off you.

        How wonderfully kind of you.

I shall endeavor to mime this necklace in wherever possible — alongside the jauntily slung katana an' the eyepatch.

Eatin' out later, so I gotta take care not to spill stuff on alla the danglies.

(I figure that is a rule for life, but hey.)

Happy New Year to you also, Boomer of Oz.

Why do you want to succeed online?
    – So I can gain some new experience.
Why do you want to be rich?
    – I want to be rich in my soul.
Why do you want to give up the day job?
    – I want to be able to spend more time on the things that I really love them.
Why do you want to spend more time at home?
    – Because everything begins with the family!
Why do you want a puppy?
    – Instead of puppy I like cat because their brain is similar to humans.

Why do you want to succeed online?
    > so I can make some money.
Why do you want to make some money?
    > so I can pay back the credit cards & eat.
Why do you want to pay back credit cards & eat?
    > silly robot, can't you see I just want to get by like normal folk.
Why do you want to get by like normal folk?
    > OK ya got me, I am not normal folk and don't want to be like normal folk.
Why don't you want to be like normal folk?
    > I don't want to get a job and get up and go to work and be exhausted.
Why don't you want to get a job and get up and go to work and be exhausted?
    > I hate rush hour traffic and would rather sleep late.
Why do you deserve to sleep late when you can't pay your bills?
    > Hey give me a break, I don't need you to sound like my Father.
Why do you deserve a break when you have no income and can't feed yourself?
    >Can we talk about how I hate dogs and jewelry or something else.
Why do you want to hate dogs and jewelry when they make some people happy?
    >I don't really hate dogs if they make others happy and I can't hear them bark.
Why don't you really deal with your own life and do things that give you happiness?
    >Ya got it all right there buddy = Do Things That Give You Happiness!
    >and I should stop thinking and talking, and start Doing whatever it takes to make it happen.
Why? What are you going to do different NOW to make it happen?
    >Hmmm. Well I think I should plan a little for what steps will get me there in 2016.
Why do you think that will be different than last year?
    >I guess if I DO some of the things I plan, it would be different.
Why don't you do some of the things you plan?
    >OK if I can decide what to focus on, then make a plan, and then do it.
    >and keep doing it, like first step then second step, and keep going even if I fall.
Why would you stop if you fall?
    >well that seems to be easier than trying again
Why should it be easier if you are not going to get what gives you Happiness?
    >I think I need a little success.
Why do you need a little success?
    >A little success will make me a little bit happy enough to keep going to the next step.
Why do you want to keep going to the next step?
    >It will take several falls and little successes over time to succeed online.
