    Hi,

    I personally the following apps:

    - Dragon NaturallySpeaking

    - Evernote

    - IMindMap (quite expensive but nice design)

    - https://habitica.com/ (an app to track my goals and habits, yes I am a geek and love RPGs)

    - FocusMe (FocusMe - Website and Application Blocker) (my favourite app: helps me to stay away from distracting websites and forces me to take breaks from the PC every 50 minutes)

How do you use those tools? How do you make use of them to make your work more efficient?

Dragon is used to increase the speed of typing any blog texts, emails and this response for example. I thought that was clear.

Evernote is a database for storing everything. Basically when I do research online I save the stuff that I want to use for my marketing here together with almost everything. The search function is very powerful.

I use I MindMap and mind maps and general to outline everything.

(You can see a video where I used a MindMap here: ) The video also shows how our use FocusMe for doing research.

Basically it minimises my browser window every five minutes to remind me of my goal. Also the program shuts down my screen every 50 minutes for five minutes. During this break I get away from the computer, walk upstairs have a glass of water and maybe due to some stretching or a few push-ups.

This leaves me with much more energy and gives me the opportunity to get my focus back.

Beside that I use the software to stay away from distracting websites, forums and email when I want to get some work done. I'm easily distracted by all kind of news and "productivity porn" which means reading about productivity rather than creating something and being productive.

habitica is a fun way to remind myself of all the small habits I want to implement into my life like meditation, yoga, drinking 2 L of water every day, taking a 2min shower with icecold water, cleaning up et cetera.
