You Don't Need Goals To Be Successful!

If you're living your life with no goals then your living life with no purpose. Goals drive you and give you a reason to get out of bed when you feel like laying on your pillow drooling and hitting the snooze alarm while thinking to yourself " I'll get up in 5 minutes." Goals tell you no! Get your ass up now and get things done.


If you don't have any goals or never took the time to write down your goals and really see what you want out of life then here what you need to do.


Wake up every morning Set a timer for 10 minutes. In those 10 minutes try your best to list 10 goals you want to accomplish in the near future. Doesn't matter how big or small they are just list them.


Next set a timer for 5 minutes. Now it's time to analyze your goals and decide which ones are most important to you.


Once you have done that set one more timer for 15 minutes. Now it's time to list the actions needed to complete your goals. Write down as much detail as needed to help you know exactly what you need to do to reach your goals.


Now you know why goal setting is so important and how to do it. Your next step is to take action and do this every morning before you start your day. It doesn't matter if your goals change daily or remain the same. All that matters is that your setting goals and taking action.


Once a week go take a look at your goals and see what goals you have achieved or are in the process of achieving and feel a huge surge of confidence!

    In all that time setting silly timers, I have slept an extra 30 minutes, had a shower and started my day.

    What kind of goals do you have that do not let you sleep?

    My goals are to enjoy life, be productive and spend less time in the morning setting timers.

      The purpose of setting the timers are so that you wont get lost in thought while doing this exercise. It's a time management technique for those who drift in thought from time to time.

    Yes no matter what you are doing set goals. today 7 days 1 month 3 month 6 month 1 year This will keep you going and also you understand how the business is running.

    yeah you don't need goals ..haha.. you need to use your time effectivly and emloy leverage to get more and more done in the same amount of time..

    if you are having to spend that much time ..on figuring your goal out every day ..thats like spending 20 minutes driving to the gym .. 10 minutes going in getting changed .. working out 20-30 minutes ..spending another 15 minutes showering and getting changed..then spending another 20 minutes driving home ..

    50 percent of people ..only do that a few times ..then talk about needing to get back to the gym ...

    instead of waking upand sitting down to write goals .which may work for the people who brain are fully functional a few minutes after waking up ..

    you are probably far better doing the long term goal thing once a week..and every night before you go to bed have much of the next day planned out .so when you wake up you wake up knowing what you need to get done

    I have already read a lot of books on self-development and motivation, and what I understand is that goals are important. Self-discipline, goals planning are tremendously important, but the key to success is in increasing your dopamine level.
    I'ts not a psychological, but a medical question.

      yes i am picking on you .. but i have done the same ..

      here is the big question ..

      what the best book on goals ?
      here is the answer ..

      the one you read.. and then actually sit down and put together goals that you start working on and achieving ..

      you can read 500 books on setting goals ..and if you never sit down write out goals..that you then follow through on and achieve .. you wasted all that time reading and all the money spent on those books ..

      50 % of people who have gym memberships.. pay every month and never go ..and a huge amount of home personal excersize equipment spend 99.9 percent of the time as a cloths hanger ..or decoration ..

    I agree with Odahh you have to put in action and move forward. The goal setting is like making the pathway but it's still up to you to walk it. You can know how to be how and how to make money and be success but without action that knowledge means nothing.


    As for raising dopamine levels, you don't need medicine for that. Once you start reaching your goals and bettering yourself you're dopamine levels will rise on their own. Living a purpose driving life pushes you to do better and be better.


    Write goals and imprint them into your brain and then take the action to reach those goals.


    No secret formula


    Goal + Action + Hard Work = Success!

    even if you don';t have goal written down on paper ..can you explain what you want and why you want it to people ..

    because i am constantly growing and changing my long term goals shift ..

    that is part of why trying to build a career out of something you are passionate about now ..may lead to folly .. if you have to stop and think well what am i passionate about


    anyway my goals where ..to find what i want to do to make money that i enjoy .. then find a woman to spend my life with ..

    well i was on vacation on the other side of the world a year and a half ago and found my little gold digger .. i mean the woman of my dreams .. now never actually got alone with her to have any thing happen but she focused on me .. in any case .. i have spent a good chunk of the last year and a half trying to get her to understand the reality .. of my financial status ..

    but my young fiance has never picked up a goal setting book.. a book on the law of attraction..or heard one motivational speaker ..and currently she is living in a small house with concret block walls and a sheet metal ceiling.. she was sleeping on the floor untill i sent enough money to get her a mattress ..

    now this is the living arrangment for 4 billion or more people on this planet probably 5-6 billion ..

    anyway this woman..has bi polar disorder not diagnosed .. chrones disease .. and she is not eating correctly .. but with all that is wrong with her reality ..

    she has no trouble telling me a an ever growing list of things she wants ..and she knows exactally whe she wants them ..

    this is my womans goal expression statement ..

    Dear (thats me) it's a long walk to the store its hot and it makes my legs hurt..i amagine i have motor scooter ..

    Dear I i am bored i really want a tv ..but it only has 3 channels so i also want cabble ( she got that )

    Dear I don't like sleeping on the floor it make my back hurt i want matress ( she got that )

    Dear I want to tranfer to apartement with my mom and dad i don't like living here ..and i need bathroom to take baths in ..( ill have the money for the move the next week or two

    then she will get a fan .. or a couple fans ..

    anyway .. for me .. i will be successfull .. when i have a way to earn money that i enjoy doing..and have this woman or a woman like her .. and i'm very much invested in this one ..

    here is wj=here we go into dopamine . when beside me ..she tells me what she wants .. i make the money.. or find a way to get what she wants.. she is happy i am happy..

    and she has an almost endless list of things she wants .. which are slowing inching up in price ... ugh .. ever growing ..list ..

    so i find that im copying her method of goal setting ...

    expressing the reality .. of how things are .. then what you do not like about it .. then openly expressing and visualizing a better thing ..then continually filling in the image of the thing you want ..

    and anytime you are in a situation where you are saying .. this situation really sucks .. complete the process ..with the here is why it suck.. and the it would be much better if ..or or i imagine this better thing ..

    then if you hit a wall ..where it's most likly that that will not happen ..then you go right now there is nothing i can do about it and no point in bitching ..

      I think setting timers are for those people whom are lazy in doing their goal completion, for me what I plan to do at early morning 5 then I must do that thing before the time. Laziers use timers to remember the goals

        That's definitely not true. Setting timers is a organization and time management technique for those who have problems with time management. If you feel like you have forever to do anything then you will most likely have to deal with the problem of procrastination.


        So it's not about being lazy it's about staying focused on the task and get it done as soon as possible so you can take action.
