Is life just one big cycle? We become what we hate!

So today I was again thinking while on the metro.

Do we become what we hate?

Let me explain. We hate our jobs, our boss, the system of doing the same thing every day, making money for someone else while we are J.O.B.

So we say one day, that's it, and we start to investigate how we can make money online, we struggle, we start to see money.

the 5% who work this actually start to make a income that rivals what they were making and then they tell their boss where to go

20% of that 5% actually get to a level where they start to make serious money. There enterprise actually starts to make a lot of money so they can no longer run it themselves

They outsource parts of their service - maybe it is customer service, or product creation.

20% of the 20% of the 5% really hit the big time and start to take on full time works, have an office and get others to run their business.

They then become the person they used to hate.

Now this is not a hater post, it is just an observation. I guess as long as they become a nice boss that is good.

What are peoples thoughts?

It depends on the person and how that person experienced life working for someone else.
If you hated your boss and the way he treated you I guess when you take a position like his you can make sure you don't treat your employees like that.It really depends on that person. These are my thoughts, curious what others think.

Yup, you don't have to do it the way they did.

A role ("owner") is not everything about what you do and how you do it.

Probably should be in the "mind" forum...

I don't think life is one big cycle....my life is a small cycle...a speck in time. If you have a job you dislike - YOU need to either increase your skills to get a better job or find another way to earn an income.

The same people who complain about a "J.O.B." can often be found here a year or two later complaining about gurus or how "nothing works" or looking for the next shiny object. It's popular to whine and moan about a boss or repetitive tasks, etc - go to work for yourself and the excuses no longer work.

The harsh truth is this: If you aren't doing what you WANT to do to earn a living....it's your fault. If you hate what you do - change what you do. Add to your skills, improve your attitude, change careers or jobs or lifestyles. Life is short - a shame to waste it being unhappy with what you do.

I've NEVER "told a boss where to go" - I've left on good terms even when I hated the work or the boss. The "I'll show them" attitude isn't conducive to success....in anything.

When you do the math for your scenario, you're saying that 1 person in 500 becomes what he hates. That certainly could be true but it's not a significant number.

Anyone that really hated his boss will have the perspective of what he doesn't want to become.

Another side of this that I find interesting is the "lifestyle" people expect.

For many years as internet marketing grew in popularity the "measure" of a successful marketer was the amt of "stuff" he could buy and the 6 figure he aimed for.

It's another sort of race - to achieve what you think is "success". What I see in the past couple of years are people who are re-defining 'success'. I think these new marketers are getting it right.

If you want to work online to have more time with family or to travel or to sleep in...the old model of working 12 hrs a day to get to the big bucks may not appeal to you.

I see bloggers living a nomad style life - people traveling in campers working online as they go - folks spending most of their time with family and working minimal hours to pay minimal expense of a simplified lifestyle. They are "successful" because they earn enough online to pay their bills....but for many that's possible only because they don't own a bunch of "stuff" and live simply.

If your goal is to quit the job for freedom and to do what you like...that's a good time to re-examine your lifestyle. Do you need the big house and multiple cars and materialistic lifestyle? Or is it time to slow down and pare down and just live?

personally ..i'm in the become what you want group.. ..if you want to be a millionaire ..you will have to go the have a business with employess route ..traditional employes .. or have your hands full with internet assistants ..

it fully depends on how much money you want ..you can build a 100k plus a year business with big profit margins and work it your self..

do not put any faith in your or anyones figures on the percent of people actually doing something running small businesses ..because there is a huge number of people in the shadow economy..working solo businesses for all cash ..

working for uber, renting their extra rooms on air bnb.. there is a growing number of people growing food in their yard and making an amount of money off that..

when you have a job ..not only are you paying a huge amount of your income in taxes ..but there is what you also pay for cloths food ,, gas in your car wear and tear on your car/.. how about the money you spend heating or cooling your home when you are away at work..

so there is an explosion of people running small gigs that are not traditional businesses ..and fly under the radar ..

there is also a huge problem at the top .. as there has been a huge increase in the number of millionairs..and many of the traditional way money makes more money have been flooded and are capped off ..

the whole point is to put together a life we want .. not chase some mine is bigger than your competitive model of success .. trying to make millions of dollars and retire early ..so you can blow it all on expensive pent houses hookers and cocain ..

if that is what you want go for it ..

but it is foolish to think just because somone is not in the 1 percent or chasing an income ..they are not a success ..

there are so many ways available to those alive today to craft lifestyles that suit them ..

and you can live fairly well and have an amazing lifsyle on a modest amount of money..if you plan ahead and work at it ..

sorry im ranting..gotta end this and go hustle ..
