I would say the key to productivity will be knowing the goal in order to achieve.

Although I like the idea of Dream and Happiness, taking actions for that in a regular basis would need to setup an exact goal so would exam every concept.

Would like to hear more opinions.

The number one key to productivity is avoiding procrastination.

The next is to have motivation. Find something that motivates you.

Another thing is is to set a time table and create just a small kind punishment if you didn't meet with the scheduled time frame.

Happiness is a state of mind, and not the key or secret to productivity.

The key to productivity is hard work and knowledge. And one of these doesn't work without the other.

  • Actually I was looking into the precursor of motivation and goals.

Everyone was giving this generic answers online and no one actually talked about how to get motivation.

I realize after a while that it is happiness and self-content, and the realization that you have a purpose in life. Thats how you eventually become productive! In other words, a specific mindset shift.

Not sure if I am making sense but this is just my thoughts.

      Dear Hubert,
I am a big believer in that being Happy is the key to productivity and success. I know myself that if I am not in a good mood or I am tired, usually my results will reflect on that. It does help to be feeling good about life or whatever it is you are doing in order to get good results.
But I also love the idea that being happy in the moment, in what you are doing in that very moment is the result. Most people look at things as a finished product or working towards some goal, and while that is true it the thing that you are doing that makes up that journey or goal. That is just my take on it anyway-Jennifer

I agree that if you feel good about working (as in it's something that brings you "happiness" just because) then it definitely has an influence on your productivity.

In the past I have tried building websites/businesses because I thought they would bring me money however they were all "failures." (Why? Because I wasn't motivated enough to make them successful.) Today though I have something that I'm passionate/enthusiastic about.

    Interesting post.

    • Jonathan!! I totally agree with you!! OMG, yes. If you focus too much on the outcome, you might not actually get it. like making money with websites.

However, if you actually enjoy the process of making the websites, you actually can make money!!

Totally many people fall for this. I know we have to keep the end in mind, but sometimes being too outcome focused destroys everything.
