Life Lessons Many People Learn Too Late

1. Believe in every moment. The only moment is NOW!
Take every breath believing that you are meant for more! The present - the here and now - is all the life you ever get. So live each moment in full, in kindness and peace, without fear and regret.

2. Life is short
What is life without a little struggle, a little failure and a little pain? Muhammad Ali once said, suffer today and live the rest of your life as a champion! Fight for what you believe in. Fight for what's important to you. Fight for the people you love, and never forget to tell them how much they mean to you. Realize that the mere fact that you have a chance, you are already grateful. Start TODAY and dont procrastinate.

I agree that the only moment is NOW, because this is the only moment you can change. You cannot change yesterday because it is past and but you can change tomorrow by changing now because what you do now determines your future.

Yeah. I totally agree with that.

Especially with "Life is too short" That's why some people have regrets when they got older that they didn't do what they want when they still have the time and energy.

People should learn to enjoy every moment of their lives.

Thanks for this sharing Hubert Koh,
Many reasons can explain why people learn too late.
First, we can talk about the routine: work, sleep, work, sleep... and they forget that they have a life.
Second, people have used to think about other in first than oneself: it's a big mistake.
But the worst, few are not able to think about oneself, didn't know that or are not aware.
Third, suffering is about choice: few like to suffer and other don't want.
I imagine that many people prefer to make their life without suffering, and it's possible: it's here the interest to make that we love, to see that we love, to hear that we love, to taste that we love and to smell that we love.
And we have a big power: to choose.

    Wise words indeed.

That is the reason why people don't live the life they want because they always think that they could still do it tomorrow or other day.

People tend to focus on what tomorrow may bring not on what is in front of them today.

I just read yesterday; "The more knowledge you attain, the more the suffer grows."

When I was young, I was wide-open, adrenaline junkie, no real fear of death, etc...

Looking back, and how fortunate I was to have sustained half the shit I did, and without ever breaking any bones, is both miraculous and something to be grateful for indeed.

Now, closely approaching 44 this month, I'm acquiring a deeper understanding of "all things being" and as such, in the collective experiences I've had, it not only humbled me some, it has made me empathetic towards all mankind, our ignorance, and what's really at stake globally.

With all the harsh realities we witness, observe, and experience... there comes a time we need to appreciate the privilege those before us allowed us to inherently explore, and there is no better time than now to do the same for the next, provided we haven't traveled beyond the concern to own up to such a responsibility.

Sadly, most world leaders will not likely have much 'concern' for the majority, thus, we should stand together, rather than fall apart!

Barely scratches the surface about how I feel today, now I gotta write that book!

One of the biggest life lessons is definitely: relax. Smell the roses. Or as Warren Zevon said it: Enjoy every sandwich. We give meaning to things & stuff that don't really matter that much. We all have limited time on this realm, so we might as well enjoy it.

I think people understand those life lessons, but then choose to use them as excuses rather than motivation. I believe those very concepts are the reason society is so focused on instant gratification... 'Yolo' (you only live once) being a prime caption every time someone does something stupid.

Every moment should be treasured, but I'd rather work hard now (sacrificing fun) than treasure every moment that I'm not stuck in the kitchen of a fast food restaurant.
